James, Had a long conversation with Mack King last night and we're going to try real hard to get together and come out to see you this Thursday. I was real impressed with what the Unity Church is doing with artists, and with performers like you on their roster you should have a good turnout. Al

I'm sorry about not answering your post but I have been bogged down with family stuff. I just found out yesterday that Jacob has been eating marbles. How do I know, he pooped one out yesterday at Beef-O-Bradies! I hope to see you guys at the show but I understand how things are "the best laid plans of mice and men..." and all of that but the idea touched on earlier is true that in order for this organization to work we all must work together. At the meetings I am able, with the help of friends. be able to step outside my limitations of being a Folkie and play my songs with a whole band an hear just what it would sound like with different insrtuments, beats, etc.... So what I am trying to say is I enjoy this atmosphere provided by Al and JPF. If I don't C-YA at the meetin' or thursday I'll C-YA at the North@South show. BTW can someone give me directions to the concert. James ------------------ James www.JRHawkins.com

James, You know I've been a fan for a few years now, and friend I hope, but there's just no possible way I can be there. I will be there in spirit tho, I'll be listening to the tracks you laid down here a while back and pretending I'm there. Break a leg (figurativly) ------------------ jak kelly http://jakkelly.com

Man that was cool as hell...James, I always enjoy seeing you my friend, and Joey Errigo is quite a talented lady as well. The Songfellows were awfully entertaining, very good evening all around. Good to see Q as well, I love the interaction we have from this chapter. Can't wait til tomorrow!!!!

I also highly recommend the Unity Church shows. There is a friendly intimate setting for being able to breath the music. No distractions and total focus on the artist. I sat there watching and listening to James perform and felt a sense of pride to be associated with folks of this caliber of talent. Not only was he on musically, but his song introductions and humor made for an absolutely enjoyable show. He was very well received and appreciated by all who attended. And it did'nt stop there. After James we were treated to a Barbershop Quartet called "Songfellows" Humorous, Warm, And a very professional performance as well. Joey Eriggo closed out the night with her southern charm and special blend of Folk. Owned the stage, and can bring out your emotions through her beautiful lyrics. Im going back.....Donna Klein next month I believe. Al Alvarez
