Kirk sent me this for distribution. If you don't remember Resurrection Airmen, these are the guys who had me using every one of my mic stands at the Roadtrip show last summer. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Country Music Jamboree The Pioneer Valley Pickers and Grinners will hold their Country Music Jamboree, Saturday January 28th at the Congregational Church Fellowship Hall 488 College Highway Southwick, MA. The Resurrection Airmen Band will be featured from 7 PM to 8 PM. The Resurrection Airmen perform traditional and original country, bluegrass and Gospel music with a special emphasis on Texas tunes from Bob Wills to George Strait. The Airmen then head for the hills to pick on Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt and Earl Scrugs. The Resurrection Airmen feature five string banjo, resophonic guitar, six string guitar and Bass Fiddle with heap of down home country humor on the side. An open mic will follow from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. If you are you a musician or band playing acoustic country, bluegrass or gospel music this is the place for you! You say you don’t play or sing? Well, come show us your best country dance steps or just listen! There is no alcohol, smoking or charge for admission. Donations are encouraged to cover the cost of renting the hall and to cover band expenses. Refreshments will be available. All ages are welcome. Parking is in church parking lot. For more information call Kirk Creswell at 413-569-3637.
