Just got an email that my song "Ugly Friend" was recommended to the NSAI panel for review. If they vote in favor of it, they will pitch it on the next Pitch-to-Publisher night after the vote. It'll probably be several weeks before I know either way but hey, I'm excited... Of course, now that it's taking the next step up the NSAI ladder, I've had thoughts about other tweaks that the song needs. If my thoughts are on the right track, I'll probably get feedback from the panel that confirms what I'm thinking. Of course, if they vote for pitching it, I'll just let it ride and see what happens.
