Mo' Kauffey live at 3 pm. Sun. Sept. 28 at the Word on the Street Festival free family fun in Victoria Park, Kitchener Ontario From poetry to hip-hop, prose to fiction, children’s story telling to song writing. No matter what your preference you can experience all of this at Kitchener’s second annual The Word On The Street festival. This year’s event takes place Sunday, September 28 in Victoria Park from 11am to 5pm. "Blues On The Street" 3:00pm Four local songwriters will take turns playing songs about the street, from a blues perspective. Prior to each song, each artist will tell the audience about the inspiration for the song and how the song was written. Participants in this showcase include Dan Graham, co-founder of Kitchener’s Blues, Brews and BBQ’s festival acting as a moderator, Juno nominated Mel Brown, local guitarist Shawn Kellerman and blues veteran Mo Kauffey. Mo' will be showcasing some of his newest songs that will be on his CD, due to be released within the next month. ------------------ http://www.mokauffey.com
