Hi Folks,
Just heard that our Just Plain Folks Mentors (and board moderators) Danny Arena and Sara Light were nominated for Best Original Score for Urban Cowboy in today's Tony Award Nomination announcements!
This is a HUGE thing! Even though these guys are Curb/Magnatone Staff writers and Sara has already had a major hit song cut by John Michael Montgomery, to get a Tony Award nomination as a relative outsider is akin to someone here getting a major artist cut that is also nominated for a Grammy the first time out!
Big Congrats to Danny and Sara!
