Hi folks,
Thought I'd let you all know a fellow member is on tonights episode of HBO's Def Poetry. 4 time award winner Sekou (tha misfit) is performing on the show first airing tonight, Friday, July 26th on HBO. Here's the info from Sekou:
Reminder!
Q: What are you doing tonight at midnight?
A: Watching Sekou (tha misfit) and Steve Connel on HBO Def Poetry!
Q: What are you going to do after that at some point?
A: Log onto HBO.com and post a message on their board leaving some comments about Sekou
Examples:
"Sekou (tha misfit) was incredible! I hope they bring him back on!"
"Did anyone tape the performance of Sekou (tha misfit)? I gotta have a copy for my collection! Hopefully they bring him back!"
"I'm going to record Sekou (tha misfit's) performance onto tape and listen to it every night before I go to bed! That is until they bring him back on the show next season!"
"I really would like to find out how to get Sekou (tha misfit) to perform at my college/community event! Can anyone tell me how to contact him? Oh, and by the way . . . they really need to bring him back again next season!"
(okay you get the point. I've discovered that sometimes we need to make our own press worthiness! Also, for anyone that takes this seriously and does do me the favor of posting a message, PLEASE make sure you say my entire name "SEKOU (THA MISFIT)" to differentiate me from their other guest "Sekou Sundiata." thanks!)
