Seattle has a great wealth of performance opportunities for artists ranging from open mics to arenas. Over the weeks to come I'll offer my insight into a few of the better ones, but for now I'll leave you with a couple of links that provide a good overview of the Seattle scene. If you live in the Seattle area, be sure and add your favorite venues and performance opportunities to the list. American Music's Seattle Club Listing - http://www.americanmusic.com/seattle_club_listing.htm Richard Gillmann's Seattle Folk Music Venues & Schedules - http://www.nwlink.com/~rxg/sked.html Victory Music's Open Mic List - http://www.victorymusic.org/open/index.html Hope that helps! ------------------ Clif Johnston Clif@CJTrio.com http://www.CJTrio.com

Thanks Clif. If you have personal experience with any of the venues, that would really be great to hear about.
Will get to the links when time is available.

Clif,
Thanks for the links. We also want to build our own listings so we can post them directly on our site. These are great resources, but obviously we don't want to post their work directly, though we'll certainly link to their sites. If you have any additional info, contacts, experiences with the venues etc.. please post that stuff as well.
Thanks,
Brian

Thanks, Brian. I do plan to create individual posts with more specific information for each venue or performance opportunity I know about. My purpose in posting the links in the above post was to give a quick overview and open it up for others to post the info they have as well.
