My band, the Poxy Boggards ( www.poxyboggards.com) will be headlining at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, California, on November 4th. We're looking for opening acts. If you have an act that's interested, please email me at srvenable@poxyboggards.com. We are a vocal-heavy folk band with comedic and bawdy music. In the past we've performed at various Renaissance Faires. We're looking for openers that will be a "good fit" with our type of music, but we are *not* looking for another Renaissance Faire act. Interested acts must have their own, active following, and must be able to draw a minimum of 100 people. If you are booked, the Galaxy will supply you with consignment tickets. The face value will be $15.00. Prior to the show, you will have to turn in $10 for every sold ticket and any unsold tickets. (That's the deal we've had when we've opened there, so I'm assuming that deal hasn't changed) The capacity of the Galaxy is just under 1,000. Probably looking at at 30 - 45 minute set. Thanks, Stu Venable www.poxyboggards.com srvenable@poxyboggards.com

We've got one opener, and we're looing for two more. If you're confident you can draw 50-100 folks, please contact me at: srvenable@earthlink.net

Stu,
Finding a compatible group that can also draw 100 people is proving a challenge! = )

I know! We've only found one (and they're not THAT compatible).
We were hoping for only two openers. It gives the openers longer sets.
Now we're thinking three openers. We've set our own goal to 350. We figure with three openers, we should hit 500.
(It's much easier being an opening act!)

I just spoke with Zak Morgan and he's interested. I will be forwarding an email to you both. Please follow up with him ASAP.
