I was active here a few years ago, but life got in the way for a while. In the next few weeks I'll be taking a much needed break (hopefully permanent) from corporate life to focus on my music again. I'm raring to get back out there in the community again. Guess that's it. :O) ------------------ Clifton Lee Johnston http://www.CliftonLeeJohnston.com

Ah-HA! Hi Clifton! I just saw your post. Sorry I missed it! I've been under the weather this week. Our board has been VERY DEAD! I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. I posted an intro a month or two ago on the General Board. Basically, I'm a published author, an at-home mom of six, and looking to start getting my music out there. Glad you're back! I think if it's in your blood, it won't go away. Better give it some space, that's better than going crazy, right?? <well how would I know... I think my sanity's long gone, but that's another story...> Anyway my website is here: www.alyssastory.com if you care to check it out. I'm semi-offline this week since my laptop crashed and we have the Blue Screen of Death with no boot-up whatsoever. We're hoping it's fixed soon. Meantime I'm using the kids' PC to check in once in a while. See ya' around! Linda ------------------ ==================== Linda Adams http://www.alyssastory.com

I'm back online! (yay--that was scary) Let me know where you're going to be, and if I can make it, I'll come see your gig(s). I saw on your website you've performed at the Seabold Second Saturday open mike. How did you like that venue? The website looks very professional, and it sounds like it's a big crowd. It's a bit of a hike for me (around Kent), so I'm curious if it's worth the trip out to the island. I'm trying to get a group together to go in Oct. or Nov. Thanks! I haven't been there in a while, but it was the most supportive community of players and listeners I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend making the trip. I'm sure I'll be out there in September or October myself. ------------------ Clifton Lee Johnston http://www.CliftonLeeJohnston.com

That's good news! Hope to see you there. I'll post in the Seattle Board when I know I'm going for sure. Linda ------------------ ==================== Linda Adams http://www.alyssastory.com
