Hi Everyone,
Christine Mascott here. I used to coordinate the NYC Chapter before moving to Massachusetts a couple of years ago.
Now, I, along with Kim McDonough (Operations Director of local Audio Production Facility, MDI) are forming a new JPF Chapter. Our first meeting will be January 31 followed by a member showcase in mid February.
If you know of any members in Southeastern Mass, or even the Boston area (there's easy public transport) please have them send their email addresses my way so I can update them on what we're up to.

Thanks Brian. It's good to be back on board.
Kim and I just lined up a great guest speaker for our first meeting 1/3, Dinky Dawson who was a prominent live recording engineer for a lot of 60's UK acts as well as The Mamas and Papas, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan among others. Currently he's producing some higher level reggae acts. He's going to talk for a bit at the meeting about getting a good live sound and live recording and also take some questions.
Kim and I are going on the local commercial rock radio station here on 1/16 for a long guest-interview segment to talk about JPF and the new chapter. We also have plans underway for our first singer/songwriter showcase, hopefully in February.
Keep me up to date on what's going on nationally. You know I'm always on board for lending a hand.

Our meeting is January 31,2005 from 7-9pm at MDI in Plymouth, MA (2277 State Road, G-1)
