Hello everyone, I'm a newly-added moderator for this "Southeast Chapter" board. From what I can gather, there aren't many active chapters these days. If you want your own board I'll happily talk to Brian otherwise please don't hesitate to post here. Any events, community or festival gatherings, or concert listings of interest, workshops, etc. feel free to post here.
Acoustic Maniac and SnaveDogg, my band recently did a show with an excellent jam group from Huntsville called Sandia. I'm planning to perform there at a place called "Voodoo Lounge" on September 5. If you happen to be in the area, feel free to meet up with me in person! I may even be able to stop in Birmingham on the way to/from Atlanta ... let me know if you're interested.

I come back to Tupelo to visit my kids pretty often. What kind of music do you write? Do you write both lyrics and melodies? I am mostly a lyric writer. I need help with melodies.
