WHAT: The Mountain Stage NewSong Festival, now in its 2nd year.
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003
WHERE: On the 350-acre grounds of the historic Claymont Court Estate, just outside Charles Town, West Virginia, about an hour west of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD
WHY: NewSong is an international music festival, song contest and musical gathering devoted to showcasing and honoring the best performing songwriters in the land and identifying up-and-coming stars. The festival aims to create a warm, communal atmosphere for the presentation and sharing of live, original music and creative fellowship. The festival honors the spirit of the live performance music program 'Mountain Stage,' now in its 20th year and heard on more than 200 public radio and TV stations worldwide.

Last year was the first annual, and it was intimate, and magic. Hope to see you there!
