Well, it's hard to believe but our second meeting is almost upon us. The third Wednesday this month is June 18th. Same time, same location. Our guest speaker is going to be great! Here's his bio:

John Loweth started in the music business in 1960 and in addition to experiencing all aspects of the business he became in his spare time a popular Radio DJ, programmer, producer (1965-1986) with now defunct CFGM of Richmond Hill-Toronto while working with several record companies in sales, promotion and A&R from 1960 to 1972.
In 1972, he joined Chappel Music worlds largest music publisher now part of AOL Time Warner becoming manager of the Canadian branch. In 1977, this company was responsible for many many hits from Rogers and Hammerstein to Rod Stewart and thousands in between.

In 1979, he started his own music publishing houses, Music Box Dancer Publishing and Mayfair Music and enjoyed several world wide hits including the Frank Mills repertoire. The companies have continued to thrive while diversifying into other channels of music including: having their own CD label a large active print music catalog and recently have added a complete in house printing facility for producing Music Scores, Choral works, method, tutors and song books for other publishing companies and individuals who wish to self publish.
