We had a huge turn out or our Toronto showcase this fall.. Jodi Krangle of Muses Muse is also in Toronto (and one of our members as well). She's our friendly contact for Toronto. We don't have an active chapter yet, but would love to have one.

Anybody who's really interested in the T.O. chapter should contact me. I've been asked to co-ordinate and have a local patron of the arts who has a licensed cafe if she would host our group. She's more than happy and we have carte blanche for songwriting circles, guest speakers, whatever. Members can sling out a guitar at the drop of a hook and make the other patrons happy if they so desire. It's in Richmond Hill but that's not exactly the back of beyond. Let me know. There seems to be a lack of response in my email. Come on guys, you know you wannit. Jodi Krangle ( www.musesmuse.com) has agreed to be the guest speaker at the first meeting which is tentatively schedule for May 21st, to be confirmed with the venue owner at an open stage on Saturday. I'm also thinking a song circle after Jodi's speech would probably suit everybody. So let's get on it and send me some emails. Valleri

So, it's all sewn up. The first meeting will be Wednesday, May 21st - 7:30-10:00. The location is the Urban Cafe, 8763 Bayview, Units 1&2, Richmond Hill, ON. This is just north of Hwy 7 on the east side of Bayview. Tel: (905) 707-1311 The owner is Diana Harrop and she's all excited about hosting meetings. Our guest speaker is Jodi Krangle from www.musesmuse.com. Check out her website it's great. You should also, for those of you who haven't, check out the Just Plain Folks website at www.justplainfolks.org. If you are not a member, please sign up while you're there, prior to the first meeting. Feel free to bring as many newbies to the meeting as you can find.
