G'day all Aussies out there - there don't seem to be too many, pity. Anywayz, i'm just writing to say hi and introduce myself. I'm 13, and i write lyrics and just about everything else. I've been teaching myself guitar since the beginning of the year and i will be getting lessons soon. I can sing, too. Hope to meet more Aussies around here! ~Tolkien

Howdy from Texas!! We live in San Antonio which is just 80 miles south of Austin, "The Music Capitol of the World". Keep up the writing, Tolkien. My daughter, Ashlee Rose ( www.AshleeRose.com), is only 13, too, and is starting to write songs also. She sings, plays guitar, mandolin, bass and violin (fiddle). We really enjoy the music coming out of Australia; Kasey Chambers, Bill Chambers, The Waifs, The Git Girls; that music is alot like what we listen to here in Texas. Hopefully, we'll get to tour Australia in a couple of years. We really enjoy being part of Just Plain Folks.

Hello all. I am a producer and studio owner here in the states. I use to live all over Aus. Near the MCG in Melbourne, Scarborough and goznells in Perth, William st by kings Cross in Sydney and Avoca beach. I even spent about 6 months out in Souther Cross and Broome. But in all my yars in Aus I found some great music. And some great studios to work in. I have a cousin that won the unearthed competition with a band he calls (13). They flew over here last year to have me do their latests record. Also an artists signed to me named Justin Mark with a group called race to survive lives over there in Surfers Paradise. Hope to see this chapter take off their is some great talent in Aus!!! ------------------ Chris Musgrave www.brokenmic.comwww.fullblownrecords.com 1-941-371-6021

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
