I just wanted to mention that we had our first monthly showcase/open mic. Bo Brinkly (of the band Drama Queen)opening, followed by Eli Beth (great folk tunes), Deanna Morae accompanied by Kathy Ryan on harmony finished the showcases for the night. Then we had Rick Matillo who hosts an open mic at Parrot Heads 56TH AND EMERSON WAY on tuesday nights call 317-543-0376 for more information and the Society a four piece band from central Indiana finishing the open mic slots. Oh Yeah Arminta and Raven did a few songs also:-) Everyone did a great job and we had a great audience to hear it all. There also seemed to be a lot of interest in attending chapter meetings from the all the musicians that performed. I will be fixing a date for that in the next week. If there are any thoughts or preferences please be sure to contact me soon and keep looking on the board for dates. The next JP Folks Showcase/open mic will be Dec 4 so be sure to contact me if you are interested in showcasing then. We already have one performer to showcase on Feb 5 Heidi Howe of Louisville, KY will be joining us so be sure to mark that on your calender. You can check her out at www.heidihowe.com Peace Raven

Hey Raven... Sounds like a great night. I'm sorry I missed it! I'm looking forward the January show as I will be in Texas on the Mid-South Roadtrip in December. It'll be great having Heidi join us! Let's get this chapter going!!! ------------------ Linda Berger Projects Director Just Plain Folks

Hi Raven, I know you contacted me about this awhile ago, but I lost the email I'd love to participate if you're interested. My schedule for the new year is filling up quickly and I'll be on the road most of 2003. Let me know... Also might have an opportunity for Blaqlily if you want to email me sometime... jessica@jessicaweiser.com Thanks! Jessica
