Has anyone heard about this conference in August? I am curious if the word is getting out or not.

Brian, I heard about the Midwest Summit at the Music Discussion Seminar in Fountain Square. This is a strange city; so many people seem to "talk the talk", but don't do the "walking". I'm surprised and saddened by the relatively light input in this site by Indianapolites. At any rate, I picked up literature on the summit, and submitted a volunteer application and resume' about a month ago. 'Haven't heard a thing. The Summit PR packaging was truly professional. I don't know if Nuvo (our "Village Voice") has done anything on it. It would be nice to get the music writers talking about it. Personally speaking, their articles of endorsement attract me more than advertisements sometimes.
'Hope this helps.
Debbie
