I am putting together a band. I am a grad of the Music Business program, 2001. I am 24 years old and seeking people within 5 years plus or minus my age to put together an edgey mainstream band. I have been writing for over 10 years and my last demo has gotten into final stages with a record label for signing. I am looking for some people who are really interested in playing and gigging and dedicated enough to make rehearsal, probably once a week - at most twice, at my place in Middle Village , Queens (5 miles out of manhattan). Here is a link to some stuff I have written... It is all rough mixes and there are many different styles. Those song samples are there to show diversity, but I mostly want to stick with the more uptempo tracks like "You Can't Stop Me Now" and "Stop Telling Me"... Every band needs ballads too, but If you only listen to two of the samples listen to those two because I am really looking to put together a band that can jam on songs like those. Thanks
