FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ACOUSTIC VISION PRODUCTIONS LAUNCHES WEB SITE WITH FREE PERFORMANCE VENUE INFORMATION Media contact: Wayne Hamilton, Acoustic Vision Productions, 651-771-6284 or vizier@acoustic-vision.net St. Paul, Minn., July 31, 2001. Acoustic Vision Productions today announced the launch of its Internet site, which provides a variety of informational services to the community of performing musicians. The URL for the site is http://www.acoustic-vision.net. The site has already been accepted as a member of the Muse’s Muse Songwriting Web Ring, which has been highly ranked as an Internet resource for songwriters and musicians. The site offers a description of the products and services offered by Acoustic Vision, a company based in St. Paul, Minn. Products include two recordings produced by the company. Services include music business and songwriting consulting, recording and publicity services and web site development. In addition, the site displays lists of venues that present live acoustic music to their patrons, including outdoor performance opportunities, schools in the metro area that hire musicians and venues organized by broad, geographic location. The various lists comprise more than 300 performance sites for musicians in the region. This information was formerly available on the web site of Acoustic Vision’s Principal Associate and founder, recording artist Wayne Hamilton. That URL is http://www.waynehamilton.com. A link on each web page currently ties the two sites together. Both sites were built and are maintained by Acoustic Vision Productions. Hamilton has been networking with other musicians and compiling data about acoustic performance venues since 1998. Touring musicians from as far away as Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Georgia and New Hampshire have accessed the lists. Hamilton plans to expand the site with lists of venues for rock, jazz and country performers. He welcomes contributions and updates to the site from any musician who has information to share about any performance venue. Hamilton is currently the Coordinator of the Twin Cities Chapter of Just Plain Folks, a grassroots, music-networking organization with close to 11,000 members worldwide. The Chapter received the Just Plain Folks Founders Award for Best Chapter in 2000. For more information about this company and its free performance information, please visit Acoustic Vision Productions on the Internet or call Wayne Hamilton at 651-771-6284.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
