This is a first for me: My song, "You Never Really Leave a Place You Love" will be performed by the 125- member choir that I sing with, Angel City Chorale in our huge 10th Anniversry concert this June!! Music for performances is chosen by a committee of any members who want to participate, so it was very thrilling to be "voted" in!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/biggrin.gif) I've never had a choir do one of my songs. It's a great honor and I am very proud to be a part of this fabulous group. If you're in L.A., come to the concert on June 5th and 6th. Congrats, Emily! Your concert is certainly a lot bigger than the one that featured of my songs... ...but it was still a thrill to see one of my songs scored for the concert band and choral octet, and played for the audience. Congratulations, Emily! I saw the Chorale at your Holiday concert this past December. It is a fabulous world-class ensemble. My friend Dave (Aubol) Mack sings with the group, and also plays bass. I am sure you know him. I have been toying with the idea of auditioning for ACC (I have been in a number of choirs and vocal groups in the past) but I am afraid it may conflict with my performance schedule. Evyn, Thanks for writing... I appreciate the nice comments about Angel City Chorale...I agree that it is a world class choir! Yes, I know your friend, David Mack - he is a wonderful singer and bass player - Small world, huh?!
