"The World Center Tragedy" and "If There Was No America" was written 9-11-2001 by Glenn Smith of Evansville Indiana and J. Gale Kilgore of Texas when they were touched by news events. Glenn also wrote "Mcveigh" about the Oklahoma bomber. They are making these songs available to those raising funds. Glenn is always looking for new songwriters to work with, where they will receive exposure on his website. His site presently gets over 9,000 visitors a month. Me and J. just wrote song based on comments by Alan Jackson below and it's on site now. It's called "God Has Written All Our Songs" we have composed it in four different versions with four different melodies if someone is interested. Lyrics mine, music/vocals J. Gale Kilgore. Glenn Smith THE BLUE CHIP SONG OF THE WEEK: "It's Alright To Be A Redneck" by Alan Jackson. Written by Pat McLaughlin/Bill Kenner. Produced by Keith Stegall. Label: Arista. Album: "When Somebody Loves You". CDX: 278. "The first plane had already hit. I was standing there when the second one hit." Alan Jackson had come in from a morning walk and turned on his TV to the news bulletin. Jackson told USA Today's Brian Mansfield that several weeks passed before he woke up at 4 AM and sang the chorus of"Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" into a tape recorder. "I'm glad that people like it, but I'm a little nervous about the attention," said Jackson. "I think it was Hank Williams who said, 'God writes the songs, I just hold the pen.' That's the way I felt with this song." Website is at: http://originalsongsite.com contact Glenn Smith aires@evansville.net

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
