https://suno.com/s/EYQu8iEhkffYSY3yV1 That dog was howling and the whole house could hear and it really sounded like the end of the world was near A cardboard box, a blanket and the ticking of a clock finally put that pup to sleep but I never forgot the way CHORUS A NOTHER... HEART... BEAT SAVED HIM FROM THE DARK IT'S A BA SIC IN STINCT THAT'S SETS US ALL APART THE rhythm OF A NOTHER LIFE THAT SAYS WE'RE NOT ALONE It's something we all want & we all need another heart beat V2 The baby was crying and the whole house could hear I never heard such misery from such a little girl but when her Daddy picked her up and held her to his chest she stopped and I was shocked the way I was back then when CHORUS A NOTHER... HEART... BEAT SAVED HER FROM THE DARK IT'S A BA SIC IN STINCT THAT'S SETS US ALL APART THE rhythm OF A NOTHER LIFE THAT SAYS WE'RE NOT ALONE It's something we all want & we all need another heart beat The baby was six years old and the dog was by her side When she got lost in the snow with nowhere to hide She was scared and cold and lost but he was not dragged her by her coat , led her home cus he never forgot the way CHORUS A NOTHER... HEART... BEAT SAVED HER FROM THE DARK IT'S A BA SIC IN STINCT THAT'S SETS US ALL APART THE rhythm OF A NOTHER LIFE THAT SAYS WE'RE NOT ALONE It's something we all want & we all need another heart beat

The "dog" angle got to me. I had to fight off tears. I hate lyrics that clogs up my sinuses - ha, ha. The music is appealing and does it justice. I imagine the production is 100% Suno. The simplicity of the chord progression makes it almost impossible not to sound like it was already done somewhere back in time. But I don't know. Anyway, I never listen to Suno productions. This was my first time. And I hate myself for doing it. Why? Because it struck an emotional nerve. I really liked it. The lead guitar part, though nice, took me away from my emotions that the lyrics & melody provided. Maybe better without it. A couple riffs in between the lyrical melody may be better. Best, John

Hmmmmn... I agree with John, kill the generic AI guitar solo. And if you really want to make the kids cry... Grab an Fm after the third verse for a bridge; Another dose of Nitrostat, another EKG No more tequila shots or "life of the party" Her fat old ass can no longer dance She traded her "Twerk" for a heartbeat And that old dog got hit by a truck ...In 1973Then one more round of that beautiful AIchorus!

Best, John Thank you for listening John. I worked very hard on those lyrics and melody. It took me awhile to get verse 3, but when it came i was very relieved. (smile)

I"m second guessing that 3rd verse story. Something is off.
Then I thought.......... ah ha........... this song needs a bridge showing that the girl and dog grow up together!
Then in verse 3 she gets sick, and he stays with her and lays on her chest........never leaves her side.
I think that ties it all together with heartbeat, I'm just having real trouble to make it not sound so cheesy.
