Coming back to this one. Not finished but demoed it through SUNO to see what comes of it so far. Original title was "Who You Are (to me)". Lyrics by Dave Gill Lyrical influence by John Paragreen and Rob. B. Music and vocals by SUNO "You're My Person"[V1] You're my person When I think of who I'd call my thoughts go straight to you You're my person with whom I share my rise and fall my wins and losses, too You're my person Yeah, You're my person [V2] You're my person From the first day that we met I knew you were meant for me You're my person my heart has known it ever since and forever you will be be my person Yes, You're my person [CH] I don't need anyone else there is nobody but you even when we are apart My love, this much is true [V3] You're my person the one I'll cherish most of all and want each single day You're my person The one I'll laugh with and will always look to you and say You're my person Yeah, You're my person [CH] I don't need anyone else there is nobody but you even when we are apart My love, this much is true You're my person Always, my person Peace, Dave

Before I clicked on it, I knew that it would be a good. Your songs always are. This is Beautiful. When the singer sings the title, the passion and innocence is very moving. My only suggestion: IMO, the verses are so lovely and moving that they overshadow the lyrics in the chorus, which seem a bit predictable. That's one person's impression. That aside. Beautiful song. Love the innocence. Marty Though Dave, you arent supposed to clutter this section with beautiful songs.

I truly appreciate your time and input. I can't help but being a lover of love and wanting to share it with my JPF fam. I'll try to be better, but I make no promises. Peace, Dave

Yes this is very nice...you're my person.....so simple, so pregnant with meaning Definitely worth hearing again and then again just to learn it Singer , though SUNO, sounds familiar to me....and B is a good key here
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

This is a nice rendition. Upbeat and powerful. I think the addition of the line "You'll always be my first one" contrasts against the previous line "There is nobody but you". It suggests there ARE others. But I understand the sentiment implied there. Perhaps: "You're my number one, yeah You're my person" I dunno. It's still a work in progress. Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate your time and efforts on this. :-) Peace, Dave

hey Bill...... the reason I put in FIRST ONE was so you could get a satisfying rhyme with PERSON......... If you say it too often it looses it's intensity.
It was fun to work with. I think Suno did a pretty good job (it took me like 20 versions to get to this one) lol
And yeah, the singer has had other loves before ... but this is his First time having "my person"
