Are you suggesting that Charlie Kirk wasn't as "Christian" as everyone is claiming?
Much the same as you claim about me?

No Tony.
Charlie Kirk said that he believed in the divinity of Christ and the Holy Trinity...and I have no reason not to believe him.
I was an admirer of Charlie Kirk. I expected to be able to listen to his podcasts from time to time, as I fell asleep, until the last time I fall asleep.
I'm disappointed that I won't be able to, and I don't think that anyone can replace him, the same as I don't think that anyone could ever replace Billy Graham.

You otoh, I personally see as a nut-job.

Are you OK, Mr Lied?
Are you loosing track of time and forgetting where you are?
Have you taken your medication?

Your question was, "Where is the insult to Christianity?", with the hope of a "decent conversation"..... Freak.

You never answered the question Tony, as has been the case with you many times in the past.
Then you asked me if I thought that Charlie Kirk's faith was fraudulent? I said no.
Then you made a comparison to yourself, and I gave you my opinion of that comparison.

And then you questioned my reasoning skills and called me a "freak."

Like I said...I consider you a nut-job.
If you dont wanna know, don't ask.

But thanks for verifying my belief once again.

No.

When the bullets are flying and the blood is flowing in the gutters, you don't stand in the middle of battle and shout, "I forgive you!"
It doesn't work that way.

The reason denying God is the only unforgivable sin is simple; If you deny God then you're damned already. You're already dead...

==============
John 3
16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

My Spirit does not call me to martyrdom.
If 70% of Americans identify as Christian, then I'm reminded of God's judgment upon the 7th church in Revelation.
The one that is neither hot or cold.
The one God spits from His mouth.

That's what I write songs about.

Tony you sometimes post some awesome quotes here: Aawwwww.... You miss me, Don'cha
I had to use that one in a song ...

https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=15116802

Don'cha Miss Me

[Verse 1]
You keep saying you’re alright
But the truth is in your eyes
Standing there beside another
Your smile just tells lies
You said it’s done
But you keep holding on so secretly
Every time you laugh
You’re still remembering me

[Pre-chorus]
But the truth keeps slipping from your hands
You can’t hide what your heart still plans

[Chorus]
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me
Don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me

[Verse 2]
You’re reaching for a new fire
But it doesn’t feel the same
The spark your chasing flickers
It can’t match a brighter flame
I can see it when he pulls you close
That your heart is far away
All the things you’re hiding
Still bring you back to yesterday

[Pre-chorus]
But the truth keeps slipping from your hands
You can’t hide what your heart still plans

[Chorus]
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me
Don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me

[Bridge]
It’s not about the words you say
It’s not about the games you play
It’s the way you keep on reaching out
You can’t let go of what we’re about

[Softer chorus – with handclaps]
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me
Don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha miss me

It’s not about the faith you choose
It’s not about the fight you lose
It’s the way you keep on reaching out
When you don’t know what you’re talking about

Rob

Don't lower yourself to being a troll.
Veiled trolling in "song verse" isnt a veil.

I've said to to you that I want no more issues with you about Trump or anything else.
I've stated that I like your songs and want to limit my interaction to complimenting them.
That's the high road out of pointless acrimony.
Don't be just like Tony and Dom, following someone around provoking them with mousetraps and insults and ankle-biting..

Leave me out of that.

Rob,

If you just cannot overcome the urges and impulses to troll me and you are not able to leave me alone, let's get that off of here.
We can take it to REDDIT and let fly what I really think. But not here.
This is a songwriter's site.

Yes, even YOU... Freak

Or, anyone else wink

Smash the computers / Love to Live again ???

(Ch)
Let's smash the computers
Throw away the phones
Reconnect with sunshine
Air out our homes
Teach girls to be women
Raise boys to be men
Make peace with creation
And love to live again

Other stuff........????

I don't want more pills
To make me feel better
I don't need insurance
I won't care when I'm dead
I don't need excuses dancin'round in my head
If I can't take it with me
I'll hide it under my bed

'Cause my eyes may be surprised
To see another sunrise

I don't need bluejeans
To make me a racist
If you want more color
I'll just go naked
I don't need more hatred blinding my human eyes
If you blame genetics
Well, at least I tried

'Cause the skin that I'm in
Is no inherent sin

I don't need AI
To make me feel connected
Google is the reason
I've been so rejected
I don't need technology to tell me how to vote
I'll just go to church
And ask the Holy Ghost

'Cause a salvation congregation
Won't argue in heaven

Well Tony,

I read it.
Agreed with pretty much everything there.
Liked it.

I'm good with it.

But I need my computer. Still doing some architecture.

Marty,
I don't understand your reaction. I took a couple of Tony's quotes and uploaded them into ChatGPT. This is what I wrote in ChatGPT:

Can you write some song lyrics for me? The chorus should go:

Aawww, you miss me, don'cha
Don'cha, don'cha miss me
Don'cha miss me

Other direct statements I want in the lyrics are:

Are you losing track of time
And forgetting where you are
Have you taken your medication?
Your questions was, "Where's the insult to Christianity?"
With the hope of a decent conversation

I know this probably doesn't make much sense, but please give it a try.

Marty, this has nothing to do with you. Nothing at all. Is your name in there somewhere? I didn't write a single line. The whole thing is written by robots! Everything besides Tony's quotes was generated by ChatGPT. I uploaded the lyrics ChatGPT wrote into Suno. And posted the song here. Now you calling me a troll. This is a songwriter site. Here's a song with a great hook line: Aawww, you miss me, don'cha. If you ask me, the whole song doesn't make much sense. How could it?

Sorry, but you have a label.
You are the one-and-only, entire congregation, doctrine writer, preacher ...of the church of Tony.

Be that as it may or may not...give me some space on this website...and I'll shut up about it.

Love and kisses,
Marty

Rob,

I high-lit the obvious digs in red, that were clearly a troll on what I very recently wrote.
I am not going to play a silly game of "gaslight" with you.
If you want to antagonize me and then tell me I'm paranoid...that's school-girl insidiousness and neuroticism and it's a no sale.

Try to take the high road and fix your attention on someone else.
Two trolls here is my limit.
The REDDIT offer is dubious, but for real.

The best offer is simply a cessation in things that come off as insults, whether intended or only perceived.

I just want some peace
To lighten up my face....

Nice to see you again Tony

Try to take the high road and fix your attention on someone else.
Two trolls here is my limit.
The REDDIT offer is dubious, but for real.

The best offer is simply a cessation in things that come off as insults, whether intended or only perceived.

Marty,
I’m trying to understand your concerns about my song. Are you saying that if a songwriter uses a line like “Have you taken your medication?” then that person is automatically trolling you? Are there other phrases I should avoid in the future?

To be honest, I’m not even following most of the conversations in this thread anymore. As soon as religion comes up, I scroll past. The only reason I jumped in was because I saw Elvis suggest writing a song and then Tony posted that fun hook line (“Aawww… you miss me, don’cha”). I thought it would be interesting to give it a try. Since I didn’t know what to write about, I just pulled three random lines from one of Tony’s posts:

Are you losing track of time and forgetting where you are?
Have you taken your medication?
Your question was, “Where is the insult to Christianity?” with the hope of a decent conversation.

Then I ran them through ChatGPT to see what kind of song it would create. That’s all there was to it.

Your name isn’t mentioned anywhere, and I honestly had no intention of directing anything at you. I get how those two lines might feel pointed if read out of context, but that wasn’t the case here. I really just wanted to see what ChatGPT would come up with when given lines that didn’t make any sense to me. Even now, the first verse doesn’t make sense to me, and I don’t see a connection between it and the chorus.
There was no trolling intended.

Well, you see in red what input I gave ChatGPT and you see what it wrote. You learn something new everyday.

Rob,

Are you really going to be this ridiculous?
This brand of gaslighting is effeminate.
To see an adult doing it, is pathetic to my eyes.

I'll go grab and quote some your posts, upload them to AI and see how that looks to you after processing. And then I'll deny that it has anything to do with you, and act like your paranoid. LOL

I think that the best thing is a pause in relations between you and me. That will keep pointless acrimony and stupidity from ramping up.

But I'll go one better...
I have offered you or Brian or John S singular verdict, over whether I remain on this site or not.
Consider that again and render a decision.

But know this, if I stay and you keep up the ankle biting and girlish gas-lighting, sooner or later, I'll get tired of it and hand it back.

So get together with Tony and Dom and whoever else,
and let me know,
if I stay or go.
whoa whoa whoa

Marty

Why not use Tony's quotes, like I did.

Elvis, I normally don't use it to write the total lyrics of a song, like in this one, but if you write some lyrics and think you're done, you can upload them in ChatGPT and ask what it thinks about your lines. Sometimes it will give you some good critic and often even interesting suggestions.

Marty,
my decision? I already said where it came from. I said, I copied those lines randomly from one of Tony's posts. Look for his post with the hook line in it. The next one from him above that had bad language in it, so I took those 3 lines from the post above that one. It was a simple copy and paste. As so often, I had no idea what Tony was talking about. If you look at each line individually, they make no sense at all.

I saw your explanation to Ben about the process. Could you do me a favor and upload the following text to AI and see what it gives back.
Of course, this bit of writing has nothing to do with anyone in particular. It is nothing more than some misc musings and jottings that I scribbled on a page years ago.

Thanks

I told him to be quiet, to be discreet.
If he did not, King Donald was going to send his secret police,
to snatch him off the street.
They will toss you in a van I said.
They will cut your leg off at the knee, I said
King Donald will eat your foot for dinner that night,
and afterwards, pick his teeth with the littlest bones. Oh fright!

I laughed as I wrote but then to my complete surprise, he had a neurotic episode... and castigated me for such a cruel attack.
He said that he wished he never ever helped me, even with the slightest endeavor.

And I thought to myself,

In my surprise, am I all alone?
Or does this guy have a therapist on speed-dial
on his phone?

Headed downtown to the permit dept. So I will be away from my computer for a while.

But I thought of some more great lines about our imaginary guy. Please add these to the body of the last text.

Some say he's crazy.
But I say...don't say he's crazy, those words are so terse.
He's just phuqued up.
Crazy's much worse.

I think this tune about the imaginary person could be named "The Troll."

How is hacky still here?

I kick started the political section, knowing he could not help himself.

Like a Pavlovian dog, precisely as predicted .

And his writing is not improving.

Not only is it better for the site, it's humanely correct to kick this wanna be way out of the park

AI is a bit of a dead subject , it's not going anywhere , Pros have stated they can work with AI tools. They probably already are , Mixes use a lot of AI tools. its probably no worse than the invention of streaming services

No, here is the truth, songwriting sites are dead because there is simply no opportunity to get music cut or licensed.

It has nothing to do with AI

It there were opportunities for ai music in film or tv or cuts, people would still be here grinding it out.

Regardless how u do it, home recording or ai, it's the fact that there's no commercial use either way
Critiques and reviews are mostly based on the marketability of the music.

Now you write cause you like it, but there's no real audience for your music.

Only those truly in love with music do it for the point if it.
you may find your self asking why....

Pretty much Dom , it's a dead market for most. AI has nothing to do with it. it is a saturated market , if you had a huge budget , You could get heard .

As an artist for sure takes a million to make a million.

But songwriters aways thought they might be the next Jimmy Webb or Bary mann, write a song, gets famous, all from comfort if your own home.

The pure songwriters is completely over

if you moved to Nashville when your 22 , its possible to be a staff writer. other then that , its basically a scam. Almost all artists started when they were 9 years old , or so

Rob,
Until I read your song, I thought that this was a good as it gets.
You may have topped it.

For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th’ oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law’s delay,
