Hi everyone, if anyone cares to comment on this lyric, any and all comments will be appreciated. Thank you
"No One Cared" Words By Tom Tognaci
V1 God spoke to Noah—and he understood. But the people would not listen— calling him crazy where he stood.
Pre-Chorus 1 Noah warned them of a great flood: "Help me build this ark of wood— Help me and have faith that your family will be spared." As they laughed and spat the ground...
Chorus line 1 ...No one cared. (Spoken word: And we all know how that turned out)
V2 Back in 1912, a champagne bottle broke the bow, And it was deemed "unsinkable," Which raised some uneasy eyebrows.
Pre-Chorus 2 Warnings came of icebergs en route, Which the crew laughed off as moot. In their arrogance, the great ship went unprepared, As the band played its swan song...
Chorus line 2 ...No one cared. (Spoken word: And we all know how that turned out, as well)
V3 There burns a new fire, one from cyberspace One not passed down from the Heavens But claims to help the human race
Pre-Chorus 3 Poets warn of a great downfall Clergy fear what the mystics saw As the world falls in line, too enlightened to be scared The signs were all around us...
Chorus line 3 ... But no one cared (Spoken word: And one day, in the not-so-distant future, so many will go unaware with how this all turns out.)

Hi Tom, I like this a lot, reminds me of Dylans Highway 61. I think it was the captain and not the crew who didn't care,I'm hearing God spoke wisely and Noah understood
I would avoid (spat)

all the best.john Hey John... Thanks for stopping by! As far as who exactly shrugged off the warnings, the owners, builders, and Captain may have had a lot of influence over the crew and passengers on the determination of the ships vulnerability. I took some liberty there, but with my understanding of human nature, if enough say it's true, then we are apt to believe. And the warnings received were roundly ignored. And "spat' is another liberty I took. I can only imagine what many thought with Noha and his urgency. Thanks again, John!
