Imagine making images of anybody, and making them do things in them, that they never did.
Take AI out of the creative world, it' can only lead to bad things.
Imagine a song in the radio billed as say Taylor Swift, but ai creates a foul mouth lyric, and her not being able to prove it's not her. One of many scenarios...Elvis is not dead, here's proof, he's singing Y a holiday in tonight.
I guess the news is so unbelievable these days, who would notice?
One time a picture was worth a 1000 words to show and explain something, not any more, you now need a 1000 words to try and explain what you're seeing is not true. With photo shop and AI a person's reputation can be ruined and they don't even know it is happening. People doing this should have to spend a long time in prison.

Exactly , only with Photoshop, they can't talk or do movements. So many understand photos can be doctored. Still doesn't save the embarrassment of people seeing you in this position.
But Ai s actually much worse. With it, you can create whatever kind of scenario you want, and using real people as your mould and clay.
No father should have to see his daughter in a sec scene, but it's a reality.
Combine them all I don't care the site is dead anyway
The cat is out of the bag , AI is taking over and slowly replace humans. AI music is just one example of it
Ai is one reason the site has any activity.
Before I posted them here, there were months of inactivity here. It got busier, mainly cause it gives people a chance to do something and have a demo which was out of reach for many.
It be worse without ai here. Is it a good thing overall? ? Well see
I look foreword to when AI won't even need a prompt...
It'll just use its global sensors and WWWeb crawling tech to calculate the overall mood of the population, and automatically generate an appropriately mind altering song.
Better entertainment through digital cognitive surveillance and manipulation. Who could ask for more?
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE... CANCEL CULTURE IS ALIVE AND WELL @JPF! YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT'S ALREADY BEEN DELETED...

If ai developes 'intuition" and ability to read and diagnose the human condition, and crank out songs based on that understanding, it's all over.
i think lyrics we may always have the edge cause that's how we communicate. Computers communicate by numbers.
I agree, if ai can absorb the news, and create a song based on what it reads , that would be unbeatable.
Or if it one day can write a song better than Hotel California , without any human intervention, it's all I over. Listeners will just go to ai music , and it will Assume ai knows something .
I don't ask ai to write lyrics. But I hear songs on the editors choice, list and they are awful.
Disconnected, unable to write to the hook, and too poetic for songs. They just recycle poems.
It may first be rejected by people saying a computer wrote that. But how will they know,?

If you let Suno write the lyrics , They all look poetic and not written by a human , I'm sure they will improve with training . I'm sure kids now just listen to AI songs , There all over the net and YouTube
We’re all built from the same dust and dreams, Different roads, but the same means.

Of course; Get'em while they're young! Children are easily misled and conditioned. Your children's children will completely surrender to AI.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE... CANCEL CULTURE IS ALIVE AND WELL @JPF! YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT'S ALREADY BEEN DELETED...
It will fail to come anywhere near it, especially when you can't use his name.
But I could say tapping instrumental, it will fall short, and the only way it might seem reasonably close is because its trying to be him.
Without Eddie's inventiveness, ai would never create that on its own
Eddie is dead. AI doesn't have to be better than Eddie... AI only has to be better than YOU. Just give up. AI owns you. You will never write music better than AI. Quit deluding yourself.

Net worth 1.6 billion dollars and growing . Taylor has nothing to worry about . Maybe a bigger bank to hold all the money she makes . She just bought her catalog back for 350 million on older music of hers . She can do no wrong. I doubt AI music is no threat to her. making millions per concert , flys around on private jets . While senior citizens on SS barely survive . If theres a God he loves Taylor

Thats why I gave up on music , I should have done it 3 years ago , Nobody especially kids wants to hear old men singing. its a kid game not old men and their dated voices holding on to a dream that basically puts you in debt trying. I wish AI would have sooner to get me out this nonsense, You wake up and face stark reality

Well you target audience might be people your own age. Not kids.
I wouldn't know how to write a song a kid could relate to. I have a couple maybe

I tried on promotion , You only get bots and its a waste of money and time , its better to let younger artists take over the show , Sell your guitar and forget the nonsense of being a music artist at 71 years old

Lol we've tried to tell you that before . If your music is online there's a lottery chance it finds an audience. That's all. I don't think it matters your age, but if it's cool.
Cheapest way out these days is your cellphone and Youtube.
Put heart and emotion into you songs, put the phone on a stand, have the camera face you, put it into video mode, press a button, do multiple takes, pick best one .. and get it out there.
Rinse and repeat.
In the 25 years I have been here demos were always a topic of discussion and from various angles. The mail in garbage drop vs who is bringing this demo to the attention of whom? All the bad scams baiting the wannabees, some who trolled here as I recall.
If you are 71 and still enjoy writing, all the more power to you. Just behind you and still doing it...just for my own pleasure and that of those around me.
If you are 71 and still enjoy writing, you will find an audience for you songs. MAB says you gotta play out, gotta build your networks of the right people. Go see some local startup talent and see if they may want to play your songs and maybe write together.
And listen to Dom Dom. No demos required

The money part, yes, stop wasting money on demos
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
No I sold my guitar , I hate music now , All it ever did was put me in debt
I understand your frustration. I spent a lot of money doing demos over the years, I had some success but not enough to recover what I had spent. So I gave up doing demos and started to concentrate on doing Gospel music for CCLI, I didn't even need pro demos, (though I had some done at first) just me and the guitar. It was then that I started making money monthly, not a lot but I think I've at least recovered money I spent doing demos. I have had indie artist record some of my country music, but they can't get much airplay because the majors have radio tied up, so sales are small, only what they sell at their gigs. Most indie artist go on streaming sites where returns in money are very small. At my age I don't want or need to be rich, but I would like to be heard, especially when what I write is much better than what I hear on radio. Ben, hang in there, find an outlet for your music, don't expect to get rich but find satisfaction.
No I sold my guitar , I hate music now , All it ever did was put me in debt
Lol.. Ben, when I was 15 learning guitar, playing in bands , I already knew then there was no money in it. For a gig got hundred bucks, and btw that's still what they pay, a hundred bucks.
I had a song I wrote, which most of my school heard me perform, they were all amazed and thought I was gonna be a star.
I was probably best musician in my school, but that wasn't saying much. Any kid who picked up guitar did it to get girls, which didn't work. Girls don't like guys in bands, they like guys in SUCCESFULL bands l
I ended up going to local studio with a producer who was pretty known, worked with Tommy James.
I saved up newspaper money and shovelled snow to pay for it.
Was about 19. It played on college radio for ,6 months then died.
As I pursued music I found out that not only was I not the best musician in the world, I wasn't even the best in my town.
Same with songwriting.
Still need luck. But I never spent a lot of money on songwriting After that.
You could have the greatest song ever written. And a top production, and still have nobody hear it or care
Then when music became free, a struggling indie couldn't even sell his CD that some nice soul would buy to make you feel appreciated.
I remember people asking for my website link instead. Meaning they weren't buying [naughty word removed].
And for a songwriter looking to pitch, good luck with that.
There was no way you were ever gonna see a dime back.
Im not sure why In 2025 you would keep sending in demos. And paying for demos.
The songs are never gonna stop, it's a habit I'll never shake, seems you won't either.
But don't let a hobby empty your bank.
I know of some who moved to nashville and of Course never made a dime. If i could have a viral hit, a theme track In a major movie, I'd call that the pinnacle of my career .
Had you played and grown over all those years because you loved making music and sharing it....instead of "I want to become a famous musician" ....perhaps you would not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Turning on your own creative juices in a fit of pique is not the answer.
You are an accomplished eminence grise with knowledge to pass on to local wannabees.
Why not celebrate your talent and all that allows you to make music and share that with the newbies who are the new fame seekers?.
Just because you were part of the overwhelming majority that did not achieve musical fame does not make you less talented.

But there's nobody here, lol. I've seen him on other sites saying.... those robots did a good job.
Herbies ok with ai. And using it as a collaborater.
When I see probably the best piano player on earth say that, it makes me think I should be doing better things with ai, trying styles and sounds I'm not used to
