Another collab with my oldest son Chris. As before, I wrote the lyric to the generated melody/ vocal he sourced. https://www.soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=15023681[Verse] Made your plans and ignored mine to forget the one you left behind Bought all the trappings that you'll need For pastures new, to plant your seeds [Verse] Picture now a quiet living room no sound no voices now in tune Walls that won't answer or console as the other sits counting the toll. [Chorus] The laughters gone but memories stay With echoes from better days Where we'd sit as the cold night crept in deep Holding on to each other as music played The laughters gone, please please save me [Bridge] As the night passes sleepless I lay then worn and tired to greet the day How did it come to this? Seems now it was destined to be this way. [Instrumental ] [ Verse] There's parts of you, still left behind on purpose perhaps to taunt or remind? Though only you I'll ever need You're gone now its time to conceed [Chorus ] The laughters gone but memories stay With echoes from better days Where we'd sit as the cold night crept in deep Holding on to each other as music played The laughters gone, please please save me
