this was tough to finish, started it a while back, but just could not get it to behave how I wanted.

I can live with this version.

https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14837893

Been burnin up daylight for so many years
The people you've known have got stellar careers
plus beautiful wives and kids they adore
the most that you've got is an easy pay whore

So, you chase the fastest star in the night
make up for lost time in the city of lights
but... dreams are...

Vague in Vegas
they end differently
but always start the same
You don't know how you are gettin' there
Or how it's gonna play out
yeah, dreams are
Vague in Vegas every time around

A darked eyed Latina approaches your set
either knows what your dreamin'
or you're as lucky as can get
She smiles and you quiver
speaks and you're froze
she's perfectly bronze
from her head to her toes

But dreams are...

Vague in Vegas
it ends differently
but always starts the same
You don't know how you are gettin' there
Or how it's gonna play out
yeah, dreams are
Vague in Vegas every time around

You blow on your fingers as you tickle the dice
breath deep for a moment askin God for advice
don't know if he's with you but you aim what you say
the delicate touch might help you some way

cause, lady luck lives somewhere north of here
has an apartment between courage and fear

yeah, dreams are

Vague in Vegas
it ends differently
but always starts the same
You don't know how you are gettin' there
You dont know it plays out
yeah, dreams are
Vague in Vegas every time around

There is a lot to like, and I can appreciate the challenge to get AI to behave.
The lyric describes a lot how I imagine Vegas. I like the hook. the prechorus is really cool the way the harmony kicks in on the extended note.

The bridge kicks! love it.

Nice music and lyric Fd

More like vague on JPF.... your conversational LYRICS would put a Vegas show girl to sleep. YAWN.... you might consider writing one liners for fortune cookies.

He better , were a mess , Bottom line... you can't promote as artists using robots. its robots performing and singing . Session players and all the jazz going along with it , is not cost effective , But you have a product as an artist, once completed, AI should be treated as a tool , nothing more . the endless bickering is crazy , Its not a artist song , its a robot , or AI , however you want on terminology .

I think your knack for pissing people off can obscure the fact that you write some good lyrics smile I like this one. Not sure the AI does it justice. When you heard the song in your head as you wrote it, was this how it sounded? It sounds polished and all, but I hear something rawer.

Ty. Sometimes the best version comes, because of the singer. A female should not be singing this

But her vocal and phrasing got ne, and it was a great chorus.

I haven't found that AI, has done anything justice. It's hard to get a human problem to match a computer.

So I think your right. I have 5 songs maybe that I feel represent ne.

But you can't really get what you've envisioned. It can take hundreds of clicks, and I'm serious, to find something close.

It will never be you. This song was originally more on the Bluesy side and swung a little.

This is pop but the chorus I believe could be a hit.

I'm not using udio or AI right now, I'm waiting for a time where I can enter music the same way.

And sing it. As fast as tech is moving, I don't see making songs with udio, is going to be a reality.

But it is a ton of fun in beginning. And great reference

there's a fix for that , Record it with live players and sing it .Then you have a promotable product .its only money . I guess most people worry about that 3000 square roof they're under , it's a useless equation . when your dead your dead along with plywood your buried in. oh robots and home studios . Man I should sung that song on your death bed . Well I got real-estate on hill . But I'm dead . Nice view of a lake . Live like your dead tomorrow , works pretty well. Fuk roofs. or be vague in a grave .

I turn on tv and see artists playing Live, doing interviews, promoting albums.

It's like AI is not affecting that. There is no mention of AI, most people don't know anything about it.

But the problem still is, getting an audience. You need an audience before anything else.

Much smarter spending money on a record that people actually wanna hear, then spending money on a record nobody wants to hear.

The audience comes first. Not sure how some manage to find it, others don't.

But your basically making an album that nobody will ever give a [naughty word removed] about...except yourself which is something .....

it's not negative it's common sense. Unless doing it for vanity reasons, or it's just something you'd like to do,and your not worried about returns, making an album without any audience is a waste of money.

That doesn't mean you stop, nothing can stop you when it's in your DNA. But making money at this is simply not going to happen.

Anything you create is for free and for fun.

My whole life is built on taking chances. Its not a great way to live but it's a path, when others close.

What your talking about is not a risk worth taking. First find out if anybody wants your music, then give it to them.

Your not gonna sell if there's no interest. And that doesn't mean your not good.

You could find a factory that will sell you a million pencils equalling a penny a pencil.

Sell your pencil for .25

Make 250,000 after they sell like hot cakes, you make a cool 150.

but nobody wants or needs your pencil.

I don't suggest giving up, just being a bit logical, your not 20!

If I was 20, I'd be going at it full throttle

You miss the point. How much joy are you going to gain singing in a studio, getting a fan base ?, divide that by robots . . if money is your objective , than by all means stick with robots

Yes, but the joy comes from having the audience, not spending money on recordings nobody will hear.

The best way to do it used to be playing gigs, and building a live following, then announcing you have a cd

Probably still the best way. Or at least building a base online

People that do end up in a pine box with , I should have gave it a shot on their tombstone. most like likely with plywood in their will , roofs .

Hi Fde.

I like the melody and pop vibe is enjoyable. I think this AI is an interesting way to create music. Its not something I'm interested in--I'm old school and enjoy producing real tracks, but I appreciate then tech for sure. I think its a good way to create demos, as any performing artist that could surely envision their own vocals or other arrangement nuances that they may prefer.

(The chipmunks I'm sure love this AI music and can even better relate--kidding)!

It's a great way to showcase great lyrics, and how important they are. As you can hear, the better lyric better the results.

Absolutely, I intend to do all my stuff again, I'd like to be able to use AI as a band, with an intelligence behind it
