Hi Everyone, any and all comments are welcome, while first impressions are most appreciated. Thanks! "Fair-Weather Friends"Words & Music By Tom Tognaci https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=15003854The songbird sings in the warm summer sun Its song is sweet and endearing But when it has sung the last note on its tongue It flies away, disappearing For oh, the sun may stop shining And oh, the snow falls cold And oh, that winter’s wind may throw A tantrum to behold You’ll hold my hand, and that’s all right by me It’s all been fine and fair sailing You smile and I nod, and we always agree But will it go without failing? For oh, the sky may turn bitter And oh, the rain may come And yes, that devil wind may send Those clouds to block the sun All those fair-weather friends, they’ll up and run, like the birds that leave the trees While the songbird chases the summer sun; I’ll be left behind to freeze Left behind to freeze Now, Let it be known that this story I’ve told Was once first penned a cappella But when a wild storm brewed and its big thunder rolled You up and shared your umbrella Oh, how the sky had opened With a trumpet’s golden sound The dark clouds went their separate ways And a true-blue friend was found A true-blue friend was found All those fair-weather friends, they’ll up and run, like the birds that leave the trees While the songbird chases the summer sun; I’ll be chasing you on skis In the frosty mountain breeze

Woaha....this place has died! Is there going to be a wake?
May I should just say it's an AI song... it'll probably do much better there. The times are a changing!

Hi Elvis.... it's really disappointing. Fair-Weather Friends isn't a bad song, but it is being totally ignored. Oh well, can't beg anyone for comments. In fact, maybe it's time to walk away from all these "music sites". They are turning into AI havens, anyways.

May I should just say it's an AI song... it'll probably do much better there. The times are a changing! Nice song. For the last couple of days, the arguments about Trump, Jesus and whatever else have stopped. So the site has been stripped down to songs. And the site is quieter, however there still appears to be people viewing this and that. A rational goal now would be to build on the song base that remains and see if this site can exist for that purpose alone. If it can't, I'd say its doomed anyways. My2 Marty

Hey there Marty...
It's like this across the internet. People are losing interest in organic music, and going for having a computer doing it for them.
This song, here, "My Fair-Weather Friend" is surely no groundbreaking song, but should garner a thumbs up or something.
I guess I'm not "the real deal" however, so just ignore my stuff. I hate the thought of letting AI do it for me. I am in a growing minority it appears. Hell, the site owner promotes AI as a "song writing tool". What a joke that is.
The way things are moving, I'll be disappeared soon. It was nice knowing all of you.

Tom,
You are a mainstay here. If this site loses your song input, it loses some "bread and butter."
A suggestion... The learning curve on SUNO is no time hardly at all, and they make it easier every time that they upgrade it. I still make songs with the DAW and mics, but I have gotten to where I greatly enjoy doing a parallel version of my songs using AI.
You might enjoy it too.

Marty Hi Marty... while I appreciate "bread and butter," I am more likened to that flaming desert served at the table across the room. I hear what you are saying about Suno and learning curves. Covering my own songs are interesting enough, but I won't use AI to actually write anything. Most do not have that determination. Oh well... complaining about no one listening to my songs is like complaining the fish aren't biting.
