During the past 30+ years I’ve always been trying to write the ultimate love song for my wife. With this song “More Than You’ll Ever Know” I think I’m pretty close to having achieved just that. The melody is catchy, the instrumentation is simple and the lyrics so emotional and strong. I uploaded a simple piano melody that you hear in the intro of the song together with my lyrics in Suno and this is what came out. More Than You'll Ever Knowhttps://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14945197[hyper-modern production with clear vocals, no autotune, Dolby Atmos mix, high-fidelity, high-definition audio and wide stereo] [Instrumental Intro] [Verse] I wish you knew, I wish you could see The way your love brings life to me Every moment, every touch, every breath we share Like a melody floating in the air [Pre-chorus] You’re my sunrise, my sweetest sound Every moment with you is heaven found [Chorus] You’re my favorite song, my sacred place The light that time could never erase Thinking of you makes my heart glow I cherish you more than you’ll ever know More than you’ll ever know [Break] [Verse] Through quiet nights and endless days You paint my world in the brightest shades With every step, with every dream You’re the rhythm in my everything [Pre-chorus] You’re my sunrise, my sweetest sound Every moment with you is heaven found [Chorus] You’re my favorite song, my sacred place The light that time could never erase Thinking of you makes my heart glow I cherish you more than you’ll ever know More than you’ll ever know [Bridge] If words could hold the love I feel I’d carve them in the stars so real But even then, they’d never show Just how deep my love will go [Interlude] [Chorus] You’re my favorite song, my sacred place The light that time could never erase Thinking of you makes my heart glow I cherish you more than you’ll ever know More than you’ll ever know [Outro] I cherish you more than you’ll ever know More than you’ll ever know

Lovely song Rob. I knew I would genuinely think so before I even clicked.
My only suggestion... I dont really write "country." I just write. However, I observe some of the country world philosophies such as using descriptions of concrete images to evoke things in the listeners imagination, and strengthen the listeners connection to the song.
This song is lovely and well written, but in passages such as this, the meanings are largely abstracted.
Through quiet nights and endless days You paint my world in the brightest shades With every step, with every dream You’re the rhythm in my everything
Nonetheless, the song is beautiful and a lovely tribute to your wife.
Marty
Ps, I am completely aware that I cannot competently advise anyone on how to write songs. I can only tell someone how I do it.

Hey Marty, thank you for the feedback. My first encounter with country music was 3 years ago. I watched the US version of The Voice and there was a guy called Blake Shelton in the jury. I had never heard of him before. That shows how much I know about country music. I can't write country. I just write down what pops into my head. I was pretty satisfied with these lines but maybe they aren't so good after all. My wife liked the song and that's what important for me. I guess she didn't notice the abstracted meanings. Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment the song.
All the best - Robert

Hi Rob,
This is a really beautiful love song, and it made me feel stuff, and the kinda stuff I want to feel when listening to a song like this. So many lines are heart-rending and the cumulative effect could have been over-the-top, but the performance and the production introduce such delicacy that I am totally sold on every word.

Roby, this is beautiful! I enjoyed it a lot. Some people might critique others work when it is at this stage, but I won't I think it is great no matter what they come up with. But yours is truly a sweet song. Good job!

Hey Wesley, thank you for your comments. I just listened to this song once again and I noticed that Suno used the piano melody and chord progression that I uploaded not just in the intro and interlude but also in the verse and the chorus sections of the song. I guess one could say that this is a true co-write with Suno.
Take care - Robert
