Adrian Legg
Tea Boy at Composer

Eight and a half years ago, when I was young and fearless.
It's a recurring thing, alas. I keep getting the idea that if I could persuade a six-string banjo to work for me I could get rid of all the guitars, pedals and amplifiers and just show up with one of these.
I just haven't tried enough material with enough banjos; somewhere in the world this combination could come together.
I think the lack of bass could be overcome by pressing the headstock against a door. I did that in Japan with my guitar, until a puzzled Japanese man the other side of the door opened it. I could tell he was seriously disturbed because he didn't bow.
I suppose it's lucky that at the time I didn't have a banjo.
