This heartfelt song is about losing someone who really meant a lot to you at some point of time in your life … your grandparents, parents, dear friends, etc. Someone you spent precious time with. It's not supposed to be a sad song. It's about remembering the good times with that person. I wrote this simple and timeless song in the late 70s. I was aware that I would soon be leaving the small town I grew up in and never see many of my dear friends again with whom I shared good times, precious times. This is a tribute to all of the friends of my past. With you, it was all so nice. I sang my old melody through the mic on my notebook and Suno amazed me with the results. It Was All So Nice https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14916195[Verse] Sunrise in the morning Moonlight in the night With you, it was all so nice [Verse] Walking through the forest Hearing the winds blow With you, it was all so nice [Chorus] Time, it slips away Like shadows in the light of day I wish I could rewind Turn back the hands of time I'll hold you in my heart And remember from the start With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice [Verse] We didn't have a worry Didn't have a care With you, it was all so nice [Verse] Together we once cherished Those precious days With you, it was all so nice [Chorus] Time, it slips away Like shadows in the light of day I wish I could rewind Turn back the hands of time I'll hold you in my heart And remember from the start With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice [Interlude] With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice [Verse] Now these days are over All there's left to do Remember, it was all so nice [Chorus] Time, it slips away Like shadows in the light of day I wish I could rewind Turn back the hands of time I'll hold you in my heart And remember from the start With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice [Outro] With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice With you, it was all so nice It was all so nice

Hey Rob,
This is a sweet tribute to your friends of yesteryear. The lyric is spot on and the music is 'also nice'. hehehe.
Good one here!
Peace,
Dave

Hi Dave, thanks for your feedback. I loved this melody 48 years ago just as much as I do now. But the Suno production really made the song shine. The vocalist is awesome.
All the best - Robert

This is a lovely Suno production. I am a suno so when I say this song sounds really good it really does. Thanks for sharing, keep it up.
