It is with a heavy heart to let you know that Bill passed away on Dec 27, 2024. I just learned about it this week. He took his life. Like many, we did not know how deeply depressed he was. He was such a talented, beautiful person. He will be dearly missed. Here is his obit: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/tampa-fl/william-scull-12148781

That is so sad Marilyn. And so senseless. R.I.P. Bill.

Wow, sorry to hear this. I think he was a member of the Tampa Chapter wasn't he? That was our second largest chapter for many years. Such a support network back in the day. I wish it had been there, sometimes it just takes some folks to connect to in a time of need. I am not aware of a previous suicide on the boards but many folks have disappeared over the years and back when things were super active I would wonder what happened. I can't find Bill's account. Did he use an alternative screen name here? Everett you know it right?

And I know some knew Bill back in the day, as he did demos for many folks.

He was a great singer and musician, and his price was very reasonable, I used his service mainly for Gospel music, his voice was more suitable for that genre. One song he did for me was called (The light that makes us free), a song I wrote for the time the towers were attacked, it was both Gospel and patriotic, it was greatly used in churches in the USA at the time. He did a great rendition of it. Rest in peace Bill.
