Obnoxiously voiced point of view strikes again.

Love this line Tony about being right because you were an early Rush Limbaugh listener..yuk yuk...not right as in certainty but right as in Rush......least that's where my twisted mind went.

Using widom on loan from God with one hand tied behind your back is Just another pov on the prowl to provoke

If you actually believe all what you post...your music and lyrics aside lots of which I like.AND believe you are appropriately communicating IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL IDEAS to others through your Christian lens then you have either failed miserably or succeeded on some only personally appreciable level. I am not arguing against what you believe in here.

Reason and logic don't seem to shine through your emotional outburts.

Seems what gives you strength in your music and lyrics may predominate your preferred way of thinking.

One of the neatest things I found was the Meyers Briggs personality typing based on the work of Carl Jung who theorized a lot of seemingly random behaviour had to do with individual's preferred way of taking in information and processing it and using it to make decisions. It is no end all be all thing and there is no right or wrong, Just how do we prefer to perceive and process information and then use it thereafter.

Take this test https://www.humanmetrics.com/personality if just for your own personal curiosity.

Big companies use it as part of their HR departments for overall planning when there are teams of people involved in making important decisions.

The test output is four letters and four numbers that indicate the strength or prevalence of the characteristic. It categorizes people according the the following parameters:

Extroverts and Introverts E or I
Sensing and Intuition S or N
Thinking and Feeling T or F
Judging and Perceiving J or P

From these four pairs comes sixteen types. The test outputs numbers as "the degree to which you are"

Lots of on line information about the type by simply inputting the 4 letters.
Wealth of information available about it that was gathered Myers and Briggs from thousands of interviews, and augmented over its sixty some years of use

What is really cool is that if you throw this away and do not take the opportunity, or take it up as a personal challenge, those two dichotomies would be shown in the tendancies of your lettered outcome

I am an INTJ btw

Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory

I doubt any of you could pass one of these...
I had to pass for acceptance to school.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK557525/

Then, on the psych ward, I graded them.

Emotional outbursts? Why don't you fools just thank me for the inspiration? If it wasn't for me, ya'll would still be complaining about Trump attending the Superbowl...

FOX just reported that Elon and DOGE cut funding for "Viral Trump Derangement Syndrome" research, and treatment modalities covered by Obamacare.

Hillary Clinton told CNN, "Now I'm supposed to buy my own damned vodka? That's Bull$hit! It's undermining democracy! It's blatantly unconstitutional!"

Consequently, the popularity of "Moonshine and Homebrew" has increased by 300% in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, and Northern California...

Alcohol sales in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana haven't changed.

In America, most people embrace the "American Dream" ethos. Until one achieves it. Then the masses hate rich and successful people. So, be very careful not to achieve too much of the American Dream.

As George Carlin said, it's called The American dream cause you have to be asleep to believe it"

I have no problem with capitalism etc, but the people who really succeed get lucky. It has nothing to do with how good you are or using your talents, those are givens.

Musk is worth 240 billion, you dont become billionaire without luck.

Taylor Swift... Lucky as [naughty word removed], nobody has that kind of success and it's not all hard work...it luck

Springsteen, lucky as [naughty word removed]. Great talent, but without luck nothing. He jams at bars with guys nobody has ever heard of, they weren't so lucky

Trump, nice to have a real estate tycoon dad.

Love the concept of using your gifts to make it, but if Shaq was 5"9 instead of 7"2...

He's working at Costco

Well there is a bunch of what seems to be "program" spending being cut...though I have to admit what I see there does border on disgraceful in some cases

Worst was 3 million for a report as to why recommendations in prior reports were not being taken up.

Disgraceful?
While the socialist Demwits were de-funding law enforcement, wasting millions on anti-Trump lawfare, propagating false BLM narratives, leaving Afghanistan FUBAR, ignoring actual natural disasters here at home, shutting down domestic businesses/schools with unproven COVID "science", draining Social Security and raising taxes, pushing gender ideology on grade-school children, opening the borders, selling America out to China, ruining domestic economic stability in the name of Green Peace/Climate Change scams, and demoralizing the American armed forces with WOKE Bull$hit...

THIS IS WHERE THEY WERE BLOWING AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS AND RUNNING UP THE NATIONAL DEBT!!!

https://doge.gov/
DOGE has just gotten started... this is just today's update...

US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled:
- $10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision"
- $9.7M for UC Berkeley to develop "a cohort of Cambodian youth with enterprise driven skills"
- $2.3M for "strengthening independent voices in Cambodia"
- $32M to the Prague Civil Society Centre
- $40M for "gender equality and women empowerment hub"
- $14M for "improving public procurement" in Serbia
- $486M to the “Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening,” including $22M for "inclusive and participatory political process" in Moldova and $21M for voter turnout in India
- $29M to "strenghening political landscape in Bangladesh"
- $20M for "fiscal federalism" in Nepal
- $19M for "biodiversity conversation" in Nepal
- $1.5M for "voter confidence" in Liberia
- $14M for "social cohesion" in Mali
- $2.5M for "inclusive democracies in Southern Africa"
- $47M for "improving learning outcomes in Asia"
- $2M to develop "sustainable recycling models" to "increase socio-economic cohesion among marginalized communities of Kosovo Roma, Ashkali, and Egypt"

If Biden had done this you'd be all over it.

I dint mind Trump really, but Musk is dangerous, he dangerous to Trump's team, he's a billionaire who clearly sees this job as a way to make more money and enhance his goal to be the world's first trillionaire.

But if Biden did this....

You are dangerously ignorant...
I can't wait to see what DOGE finds on the Bidens, Pelosis, Obamas, Clintons...

The Republican mantra has ALWAYS been "fiscal responsibility, free market deregulation, and smaller government".

The Socialist Demwits have always opposed that ideology for OBVIOUS REASONS!

DOGE isn't doing anything "secretly";
DOGE is opening the books for the whole world to see!
And the Demwitted, money laundering crooks are freakin'tha fuuk out!

Think about it...
The "Ruling Class Democrat Elites" have been trying to bury Trump for 9yrs!
Since he announced his campaign!
Why...?
Because he's a BUSINESSMAN!
The Socialist Demwits always knew what "Drain The Swamp" was going to look like!

No not cause a business man but because they wanna win the election.

I dont have any love for Dems but it's amazing you can't see your hypocrisy.

And can you wait to see what they have on Trump, or elon, or bezos, or his whole panel of billionaires while claiming he loves the middle class.

My guess is you won't see any of their taxes

I am going to merge all the political stuff I see or am told about into this post.

If anyone sees politics break out somewhere else, I will merge the post, or if it was originally non political, I will just move the political response to this post. Warning: Sometimes that causes posts to blip out and be deleted. But I see at least 5 posts that are the same old banter by the usual suspect, so you can repeat your talking points to the same deaf ears in this on place. If something gets accidentally deleted, then you shouldn't have put it elsewhere in the first place. That said, have at it. I'll get some popcorn (or not...).

Tony will continue to turn every thread he sees into politics/ religion. He's been doing it forever.

He's so boring and out there at the same time that nobody notices what he's doing.

As I said I'm not really into politics im more interested in how people compartmentalize their beliefs

Once this thread drops down, he won't be happy, he'll keep bringing new [naughty word removed] up.

Why not get rid of the prophecy any one thread?

One for politics , one for religion. No turning other threads into it

Works for me

I don't know why you're so fixated on having a "politics" thread...

Even if you manage to eliminate politics/religion from your site, I know several who would still bitch-n-moan about the music industry, AI, lyrical woke ideology, the cost of studio time, free streaming is killing profits, and nobody is listening to poor pitiful me...
In other words, "The same old boring $hit!"
And those whining the most would still be the least productive; As usual.

Typical home grown songwriters can't compete with AI, Brian.
So, if you're going to saturate your site with computer generated crap,
"AND"
Limit/control subject matter among supposed adults...
Then YOU are the one killing your site.
While the hecklers just laugh...

I still believe the "hecklers" are bad actors from other sites!

That's funny. Fill the site with crap.... All you do is fill it with crap.

The homegrown songwriter does not exist here, at least not any more.

And I totally disagree, ai is not doing anything better , it's just accessible and gives the songwriter a demo that they couldn't have gotten without it

And can't compete?

I'll take the Beatles, the Who, Hendrix, Springsteen, Billy Joel, warren zevon, Neil Young, lest we forget Willie nile or our unknown Jessie Malin ANY day over ANYTHING ai can create, and it's not even close.

So compete...we have always been competing against them.

I have never gone to any ai assisted song posted here and said omg, that's awesome let me listen again, never ever, and rarely have I ever listened to any song here more than once.

Compared to listening to who's next a thousand times and counting....

Think a little

When I was a kid before the guitar, before realizing I could sing or write ...which is how music should be, once you start making its never the same again.

But this song came out. It was my first real introduction to the who. While some who and Keith moon purists thought this was pop art, which it is one of the great pop song of all time, and nobody ever criticized the Beatles being pop, it's one of their best

But this song maybe didn't change my life, but certainly changed how I felt about life, and changed the trajectory of it.

I listened to this song thousands of times, it thrilled the [naughty word removed] out of me. Lyrically it was great too even if above the head of a kid.

Id dance around in my underwear with a wiffle ball bat, or tennis racket, doing a windmill, driving my mom nuts...dad was always at work lol

But, until AI can make that kind of impact on somebody, this is not a debate

And it was japov who said the songwriters here can't compete with ai.

That's cause they can't compete in general.

Your funny talking about old songs and budgets, your s hundred years old, and you haven't reinvented the wheel with your songs

It's not about current or not, it's about greatness.

Biance covered the Beatles Blackbird.. last year

You Better You Bet" by The Who is widely considered a great song, often praised for its catchy chorus, clever lyrics, and energetic sound, with many critics calling it one of the standout tracks from their "Face Dances" album; it's a popular choice among fans of classic rock.
Key points about "You Better You Bet":
Strong melody and chorus:
The song's repetitive "You better you bet your life" line is instantly recognizable and very singable.
Pete Townshend's songwriting:
The lyrics are considered witty and slightly sarcastic, reflecting Townshend's interest in punk rock at the time.
Roger Daltrey's vocals:
Daltrey's powerful vocals add a lot of energy to the song.
Synth usage:
The song incorporates synthesizers, which were becoming more prevalent in popular music during the early 1980s.

Whatever , I was listening to Rick Beato yesterday on Chili Peppers and Sound Garden on budgets . blew out 40 mikes , Will bill us . Nothing to do with my low budget songs. Soundgarden sang so loud , it shaked the sound booth doors. they did get a great beefy sound ,compared to this EDM shite I hear now . I guess I like Rick now lol

The better idea is for to cli k the ignore button and stop interacting with him if you feel that way. The truth is that some people like the drama. Nothing is every learned, even when people on either side make true and valid points. It's always reflexive to the person making the point and their views rather than any subject they are discussing or valid or invalid points that are made.
