The beginning of the end of us. [verse] I don’t recall how it started. It was something petty and small. An argument not worth having; pride cometh before the fall. [Pre chorus] We both wanted to be right. but both of us were wrong. There would be no compromise. The fight would be prolonged. [chorus] It was the beginning of the end of us. The beginning of the end of us. [verse] There would be lasting resentment. There were wounds that would never heal. Things would never be quite the same. our destiny had been sealed. [Pre chorus] We both wanted to be right. But both of us were wrong. There would be no surrender. The war would be prolonged. [bridge] Pride would not allow a truce neither of us would budge. It was the beginning and end of us. [verse] I can’t recall how it started. It was something pretty and small. An argument not worth having; pride cometh before the fall. [pre chorus] We both wanted to be right but both of us were wrong. There would be no compromise. The fight would be prolonged. [chorus] It was the beginning of the end of us. The beginning of the end of us. [Instrumental outro]

I like this. it rings true. i can think back on things in the past that could have ended my marriage, but luckily, we always backed away from the brink before it reached the point of no return.

"Money is worst reason to be motivated NOT to do anything. Instead of letting those concerns STOP you, use it to motivate yourself to find an alternate solution that bypasses money. You will soon find that your own resourcefulness is worth far more than a pile of paper money." –Brian Austin Whitney
