Thank you JPF! Thank you Brian! Your vision was sure a big one back in 97, and one that has come to life, and continues to grow. I am glad to be able to have such a site to come to with mental ease and anticipation, and interact with thoughtful people. That fact is a direct result of how you are.

JPF has had a pretty huge impact on me. I've made a lot of good friends here and it has taken me from a hobby that I pursued only occassionally to one that I now take very seriously (and enjoy a whole lot more). Looking back, I think my songwriting abilities have improved too - due to BOTH the criticisms and the pats on the back (one or the other by itself doesn't work - seem to need 'em both).

So just saying "thanks" doesn't seem like much. But thanks!

I have learned a lot and made friends on this site as well as heard some great talent and writing!

The hard work,time and dedication from the owners and moderators of this site do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. When I meet new writers/musicians I steer them to this site and always will!

I have some health conditions that make it hard for me to leave the house much...and without sites like this my creativity would go untapped and stuffed in a box somewhere. Thanks to each and every one of you!!!

Yes it’s pretty remarkable what Brian does for all of us. Contests, forums, contacts and his insights on life and the business. And never do we see annoying pop up ads, receive spam from JPF or required to reach in our pockets.

Brian has not only created a great web site but has captured the true feeling musicians and songwriters share. No negativity, no bashing , just sincere appreciation for music and one another. Something rare these days.

JPF is my one-stop shopping, musically and and so much more.

I can surf the lyric forums and see how people construct songs. I can listen to everybody on the MP3 forums. I can go to the mentor forums and see industry pros give advice. I can go to the songwriter or musician message forums and find someone to do a collab with. I can go to the microphone and vocalist forum and learn from those. I can go play in the general messages and the shout box. By then...I'm SPENT! I couldn't go to another music site iffin I TRIED!

Unless a person has been to other forums, you cannot fully appreciate what Brian and staff has done here at JPF. I been on sites that I can only say the people are cruel to each other and are as supportive as the taliban. Here there is kindness, friendships and a spirit of giving that is rarely found online anymore. Even when a topic being discussed is one where people could go off on each other, simply put, they don't, always showing friendship and consideration to who they are talking with. It is a rare thing. And it is coupled with some of the finest songs I have heard in years all created by well "just plain folks". I have talked up this forum to about everyone I know. I am delighted to see many new people that have come here that were on sites I once visited.

Yeah, this site certainly brought me back into music again.

I gave it up completely for 10 yrs. When the ass end of the music industry just dropped it's pants in the late nineties, I didn't want to be the tragic poor muso, trying to raise a family, so just walked away.

But through this site, and through circumstance of being asked to write a small incidental piece, I got back into it again.

Now, I'm loving it. I can actually participate in music again, and not have the overwhelming feeling, that if you're not "famous" then you're nothing.

We've got a whole range of folks here, from the person who is sitting at the kitchen table, with a pencil and paper, writing their first tune, to the Grammy award winners.

And each is respected, for where they're at personally.

For me, it saved a lot of phyciatrist's bills.
