Here's a new one that reflects our big win with the presidential election results, and the dangerous up hill road we're embarking on towards Making America Great Again. All comments welcome. Thanks.
Let's Make America Great Again By Tom Tognaci
There’s no time for wasting the time that we have. Bandage the wounded; lay thick the salve. The battle was won, but the war presses on. Make ready, you Captains; it’s only begun. And it’s a matter not of if, but when. Our hearts may buckle and bend, But if the cause is worth our blood to defend, Let’s Make America Great Again.
A prayer for the good men true to the cause. To you fine ladies, deserving applause! For here I know not who of us God will save. But we’ll win for all those laid into a grave. And do I hear a rousing Amen? Take heart; our prayers will ascend, And if our cause is worth its fight to the end, Let’s Make America Great Again.
To the big whips of Congress and all you unknowns, Stand up and get off your paper thrones. The road to glory will be met with a shrill, For the devils are here, and on Capitol Hill. The time has come to root out the sin— The traitors, the turncoats within. If our blood is worth more than the ink in your pens, Let’s Make America Great Again.
To all you nay-sayers who sit in the back, Just shaking your heads and throwing up flak, The road’s a long one and it’s hell-awful wide. You’re welcome to join us or move to the side, And we’ll see the true colors of men— The ones that count in the end. It’s the red, white, and blue we fight for, my friends. Let’s Make America Great Again.
that's a good hook . Well the far right will love it , not sure on the blue , you know that drill on all that
Thanks, bennash..... I can't believe that this lyric is such a trigger keeping others from commenting on. It's just a song with much poetic license dramatizing the last four years leading up to this last election. And from what I have learned, there are a lot of us conservatives happy with the election. So, where are they here
Oh, well... maybe this song sounds more of a horror than it does a drama.
Same problem . politics never goes down the middle on pleasing people , it's either right or left . kinda a broke system if ya ask me. If ya look on the drama of Carrie Underwood , she's splitting her fan base on the left fans . They're bitching. I'm guessing her team is mending fences to keep up relations

If life is treated as a business, then she might as well write off her last engagement as a failed investment!
I hope that's not the case. She handled herself wonderfully and with poise and grace. And man, can she sing!
The choir has heard it all before lol... The point is to reach the snowflakes fools... the uninformed and sadly misled
You aren't making much sense, here. So you have no appreciation for this because it speaks to you?
I guess part of what you are saying is that JPF is all MAGA conservatives and find this Ho-Hum.
OK, then.
Fine, I give up on making sense...
I agree with your premise, but find the lyric a bit generic and obvious.
However,
Being familiar with your amicable style, I'm sure you will pull this off well.
Really? I don't feel that way, at all with this. I don't think there are any songs out there that have set the last four years to song in a revolutionary drama style. Oh well. You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
Hey there bennash.... you are right. "Catching Hell" means you are over the target, and you are still alive!! "Catching Hell" would make a good working title, don't ya think?
oh he's always in trouble with some group or somebody Jason that is lol , Yeah I guess so on the hook with the right angle. I think the 500 million dulls the pain with ole Aldean

Funny how the rebels of the establishment are so well paid. Rebels with a cause, rebels for a buck... Have song will travel.
Right. He probably didn't even write the song. Whoever wrote it pitched it to him and said your going to catch hell from the left on this , Thats alright I'll make 4 mil
I like that this is different, a kind of throwback to the style of yesteryear. An eighteenth century feel, harking back to the Revolution in its tone.
Although this style seems overblown to me, that is no doubt because I only see empty jingoism in the lyric. Those who actually believe in this stuff, and there are many millions of you, may well give it a big thumbs up. I look forward to hearing it put to music. I hear trumpets

That's too bad. And I see someone with their head in the sand.

Well, at the moment the world seems to make more sense down here

Down here? In South Carolina? Were you affected by the hurricane? I hope all is well with you and your family!
Yes, I was affected by the hurricane. Had a couple of trees fall on the house. A lot of people not far from me had it far worse, of course. Thanks for your good wishes.
I hear trumpets , now that's funny. Hurricanes, Wild fires , Nature having a field day like always. Trump is a showman , let's see if actually does something. I don't think calling the blue snowflakes is a step in unity, Reminds me of cats and dogs getting along
