This song is a combination of worldly wisdom and deeply felt personal experience that I would like to share with you. My father passed away over 20 years ago, but for some reason it still feels like just recently. He died of pancreas cancer. He was a very wise man. During his final weeks, I spent quite a bit of time with him and we had some very intense, deep and personal talks. At the time, he regreted that there were so many things that he still would have loved to do in his life but time was running out on him and he knew he would never be able to do those things. His advice to me was not to make the same mistake and to live life as if there was no tomorrow. Those talks and his advice changed the way I lived my life since then. This song is about that piece of advice that I would like to share with you today: “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow”. Enjoy. LIVE LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14897836[Verse 1] In the future, a new day will rise You'll wake up, with wide-open eyes The world will change, take a brand-new form And nothing will feel quite the norm [Verse 2] But deep down, you always see It's just the way life's meant to be Things are always rearranging Because the world is always changing [Pre-Chorus] Whoa, life was made for living Take the time you're given Chase your dreams, don't close the door We never know what's in store [Chorus] Love your life to the max Take the moment, don't look back Every friend's a gift for you Let your heart guide you through Let your dreams lead the way Make each step count today Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa [Verse 3] Sometimes the path is not what we planned But every twist and turn helps us understand Where we stand, where we're bound And we find the strength to turn it around [Verse 4] Every sunrise brings a new chance To chase your dreams, learn a new dance Take a breath, let the future be A new adventure, wild and free [Pre-Chorus] Whoa, life was made for living Take the time you're given Chase your dreams, don't close the door We never know what's in store [Chorus] Love your life to the max Take the moment, don't look back Every friend's a gift for you Let your heart guide you through Let your dreams lead the way Make each step count today Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa [Bridge] Life's our chance to live, love and learn Cherish the moment, don't let it burn You never know how long you've got So give it all, take your best shot [Chorus] Love your life to the max Take the moment, don't look back Every friend's a gift for you Let your heart guide you through Let your dreams lead the way Make each step count today Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa Live like there's no tomorrow Whoa-whoa-whoa Whoa-whoa-whoa Lyrics: Robert Baitinger

Yes my dad died of pancreas cancer also. We never got into warm feely partings. "Everybody wants your money" was his dying words . He was right .
Good song Rob , I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it

Some beautiful sentiment in this a d a marvelously pained picture of your love for your dad.We all will have regrets we will visit in our final minutes but we will also have love whether loudly expressed or silently shared to comfort us as we pass

Thank you Elvis. Pancreas cancer is really something you don't want to suffer from. It's really sad that many people are so focussed on money when family members die.

Hi Matthew, I'm glad you liked the song. It's a delicate subject. I tried not to make a sad song out of it, giving it hope, aspiration, promise and to provide advisory support ... if that make any sense.
All the best - Robert

Well he was always money driven really , bit of a cold man , Probably the generation pre.. World War 2. Yes PC is one of the worse cancers to die from . Well live life all we can do. You basically kind of turn into your father , kinda... its complicated .
