Sounds good…AI is a good tool If the one singing could do promotion on the song in question. its a maze on all that , kissing frogs to get the right promotion going .

Cute song. Clever lyrics, And the AI musical presentation works well with them.
I also appreciate the fact that you acknowledged your musical partner.

So great to see this one move from the lyric forum Dave. Great. I like the music and see how the lyric works with it now. Making it three chords and the truth kinda deal, makes it easy for someone (ie, amateur recordist and musician) to create music for you....you know...so it can be sung by someone easily at an open mic...you know...so its exposure and promotion can be enhanced.
I believe in olden days of JPF , that there was an unwritten courtesy, that if a lyric and writer had gone through the onerous task of acquiring music , no nits allowed.
But its AI, so easier done.
So here is me nits:
consider changing "all the driving rules" to " all the rules" making it generic.
consider adding a third verse, with "a lesson learned" to bring the story full circle.
Bill

Thanks, Bill.
Yessir.. I'm a simple man. '3 chords and the truth' kind of guy. :-)
I actually wrote the entire song down, but Udio's free version will only allow up to 2:10 or whatever, so I had to cut off the end.
Here's the rest of the lyric:
[br] The road ahead looks awfully long I could make a right on red and be gone, gone, gone, gone, gone But I think I'll wait my turn I hope your love for me still burns I know what I did was wrong
Your eyes are red from cryin' as you're sitting on the stair I pull up hoping against hope you're happy that I'm there I run up to you You stand up to me There's one more stop to wait through to know if you'll come back to me
What if I just rolled on through ignoring the driving rules and break a little law? Keep on driving pretending I don't see and pray that no one saw. Well that's the thing that got me here So this time I've gotta do what's right I'm better off stuck here at the light
Thanks for the listen, kind words and suggs!!
Peace,
Dave

I can't get any UDIO tracks to load. I have a paid account there but outside of Day 1 I have never been able to get into it. I have emailed them but no luck. I can't even get YOUR song to load. So weird! I can get their support page to load and their billing page to load too, but not the main pages. I searched the web and found others with this issue based around have more than one email and it not allowing other accounts and shutting down if you switch between them. I have 5 JPF related accounts plus my personal one, so I am not sure how to resolve it. Meanwhile they charged me $10 just fine. I originally had intended to make videos comparing results of each.

I'm going to try and recreate it in Suno and see what comes of it. I think I like Suno better than Udio anyways.
Peace,
dave

I've tweaked the lyric a little and used Suno this time. The rhythm seems a little off for the lyric but all in all, not a bad rendition, imho. :-) Whatchya'll think? https://suno.com/song/788a18ce-c06d-412b-bc72-5973b3fb73c9 Peace, Dave
