I'm finally back in my home recording studio in Florida. I composed and recorded music for Carroll Kiphen's lyrics " The One You Love". I created the vocals with Dreamtonics Software. Feedback is always appreciated. THE ONE YOU LOVEhttps://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14848298Verse 1: You're bored with me, bored with our life You tell me that you want more But I'm not sure you understand What it is you're looking for Verse 2: We don't have to go to Paris To enjoy drinking our wine Don't have to visit Vegas Just to have a real good time Pre chorus You're thirsty for excitement So, you're chasing after clouds When the key to happiness Is what we've already found Chorus It's not what you're doing It's not where you are What matters is Being with The one you love Verse 3: We could fly off to Niagara Watch the falls tumbling down Pretend we're on our honeymoon Have a night out on the town Verse 4: You could take a cruise to Cancun Enjoy the tropical breeze Drink margaritas by the sea Recall how we used to be Pre chorus Chorus Bridge Let's have a date and stay up late Shake up the old routine Remember that we're good together Create a few new dreams Chorus

Rob Pretty melody, Pleasant lyrics. But the beat makes the song a little "static" to my ear.
Overall, liked it.

Simple and true sentiment about not chasing the excitement of love between. Two all over the world when it can dmbe found right at home, with a nite out and a night in one's own bed exploring all the wonders there between two.Great stuff Rob.

Well I'm happy I got to hear this one .. The lyrics were great and it moved along smoothly although few places seemed rushed to fit in but other than that it's a great song. I loved the lyrics and I feel the music seemed to be a great choice for this song. Took me back to when I was younger and went out to country clubs dancing...shoot I'm going to go listen to your song again...yeah you could say I really liked it...

Hi Matthew / Glyn, thanks for taking the time to listen to this one and for the feedback. I'm glad you like it. I'll let the lyricist (Carroll Kiphen) know that you can relate to his lines.
All the best and Merry Christmas! Robert

"The commercial that says "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" may be true. Our job should be making sure that we give the person we are judging the chance to make that first impression themselves, in person, for real." –Brian Austin Whitney
