Bomb Decatur. Ha! Put your Mona Lisa avatar back up Q; Was Dom ever actually "Jersey Gurl"? Until further notice, I cannot talk about Dom. I'm trying to come to an arrangement with him that allows me to post at this site without an argument. Yeah', I get it... Problem is, Dom thinks the whole damn site is his "cat box"... and he obviously enjoys it. I'd rather we all have it out here...

I'd rather we all have it out here... I've drilled myself so far down into "stupid" with this episode that I can't even remember which way is back out. I'm going to drink some red instead.

That's not good for architects , being stupid., After watching a few blunders on Youtube TV , they really blew it. Buildings falling over. I didn't realize China had all these high-tech bridges , marvels... worth billions of dollars. they make the U.S. look like we live in cave -man days.

We will all see if that was stupid decision. Could be ... but she might win by a big margin. Yeah, I know, if that happens the election was rigged. It's like Udio ... if you don't like the results, press a button and do it over again.

I've watched cackling Kamala and tampon Tim twice now, and I still can't figure out what they're running with; Other than the usual anti-Trump mud slinging. They keep emphasizing education and the future, but I'd like some details... some definition. If their track records are any indication, then the future just looks like more Bidenomics; But with even more sexism, racism, etc...

Tony, it’s amazing. You and I watch the same speeches and get totally different messages. Education is important. Trump has strong support from voters without degrees. I can understand why you think education is not important. Without education, you can’t keep America great. Fyi, America is currently a great nation. You say Harris/Walz emphasize the future. In my opinion the future is important. I have grandchildren. Do you? You say Harris/Walz stand for more sexism, racism, etc. Where did you hear that? I didn’t hear them talk about racism. Abortion has nothing to do with sexism. Trump was found liable for sexually abusing women. Come on, Tony. You can do better than that. I just watched Harris/Walz in Wisconsin. The way they described America is the way I (and many Europeans) view America. So many Europeans would love to move to the U.S. If you listen to Trump, the U.S is currently the worst place on the earth to be at the moment. Hey, maybe you should think of moving to Europe. Ask Trump, I’m sure he’ll say Europe is great compared to America. Where is Trump this week? He's not in the news. Is he playing golf again? Oh, I almost forgot. He's pretty old. He needs to take a breather. I don’t think name-calling will help Trump win the election. But I may be wrong. We’ll see. If Harris/Walz give you some details ... some definition, will you change your mind?

Let's try another approach...
This is trump: I know where Trump stands on abortion. I remember what he accomplished as POTUS. I recognize politically motivated lawfare when I see it. I know Trump likes women, and I absolutely relate. I know Trump also likes gasoline and rib-eye steaks. I know he seems arrogant because he says what he means. Trump is definitely pro-Israel. He's pro-law enforcement. He's not a divisive, race baiting hate monger. He only "identifies" as AMERICAN. He defends the parental rights of school children. Putin and Ping won't screw with him. He won't confiscate my guns. He doesn't blame inflation on transportation issues. He knows sovereign borders are just common sense. He understands good trade is fair trade. He wants America to be competitive, not dependent. And I know he's not a globalist green energy fraud.
Now, give me a better alternative...

I wasn't there Steve, but I don't doubt it.
But here's the convolute,
After 8 years, everyone knows it. Some may not believe it, but they're jelly brains or just lying. Only a zombie would doubt the Stormy Daniels thing. The people who hate Trump to the bone marrow arent gonna move on the issue of adultery and neither are the ones that would follow him anywhere.
However , Harris is a "career woman", "me-too-er", liberal this and that. Her "sudden rise" that was a result of WIllie's "sudden rise" is gonna have some burn with;
The heavy girl who made great grades in college, stays late and works long, but now takes order from the younger ex-cheerleader. As are the feminists and lesbians. There are a lot of women that dont have the sex appeal to trade to the "Willies" that run the world and resent being passed over for the ones that do.
Harris did it by the numbers...29 and 60
How much will it matter? I dunno. But it will matter. They arent gonna vote for Trump, but they may sit out.

Only a zombie would doubt the Stormy Daniels thing. Hi, my name is Stormy. I'm an "adult performance artist" with political aspirations. Hi, I'm Don Trump. I'm one of the richest most recognizable men in the world with three X-wives, let's get drunk and screw...

Steve
Trump hasn't left a pretty trail. As you astutely noted about me, I will vote for probable policy outcomes on issues that matter to me. In this binary choice, that will be Trump.
As for his convictions, he would be an "official insurrectionist" as declared by the SC of CO, had that not been knocked down for ignoring due process and other things by SCOTUS. The Stormy trial was pieced together, and has a real chance of being overturned, maybe even in NY. Big money in that state does not want to see inept and corrupt politicians and prosecutors of either side wielding the hammers that they swung at Trump.
We'll see.
That's all from me tonight. Enjoy your evening. BTW will be in Quebec City in September.

Don't care who wins the election....the American population will decide that...just reminding people of his various convictions because who they vote for is a reflection on who they are...not who Trump or Harris are...-30- That's one the biggest problems with democracy and democratic republics. Populations always elect people who are a fairly direct reflection of who they are. When populations are essentially noble, they elect Dwight Eisenhower. When they are untrustworthy, they elect Bill Clinton. When they are greedy, egotistical and hell-bent they elect Biden and Trump. When they want to undo their lives, they elect Harris.

And there are some unhappy partisan soldiers out there in Northern Mexifornia who got passed over for what they considered their rightful turn. But he had the thang and she had the tang and she put that tang with the thang. 29+60=69= Madam President? Netflix is calling.

For me...Let's pretend we are South Korea and militarize the border. Beyond that...anything good is a gift.
The economy may be the big shoe about to drop and change the look of everything.

Call it "progress..." and refuse to go back. Not sure what you mean Tony. Maybe this will answer it. You are a lock-step. Your American messiah, Donny, cannot be harshly or critically criticized. He represents the forces of good beating back those of evil. In your mind, there are some messy edges to that, but it's essential truth is unquestionable. Trump IS the will of God. Stepping back from that, some of us see an America that has devolved into decadence and factions that cannot tolerate each other's "cultures." Not just one side or the other, but pervasively, throughout all of society. As a result of chronic non-cohesiveness, the politicians that arise are firebrands, that will take the fight to the enemy CINOs. (citizens in name only) Politicians who rise up in such conflicted circumstances are dubious and deceitful. If they were not, they would not rise up. It's du-bi-ous-to-be-us. I'm gonna vote for Trump, but if I had a choice between Trump or BIden or Harris moving in next door to me...I'd build a tall fence with no gates in any case. The gist. Trump, Biden,Harris...? All of them are who, all of us, have become. That's why they are the choices for leader.

The history of civilization is the history of incessant war and the conflict that precedes them. The takeaway is that there is always lots of bad $hit going on. Lots of skulduggery. But even so, South Korea has a militarized border that has worked reasonably well for many years and that is all that I want for Christmas. Well, maybe Santa could drop a lower crime rate in my stocking so that I wouldnt feel the need to carry a gun when I get gas. If a person wants to take their best shot at border enforcement and law(s) enforcement...what makes the most sense?...vote for Trump or Harris?

But he didn't do anything about border patrol when he was in. Never built the wall. Mexico never paid for it. Most presidents don't do what they say they will So your not voting cause if border patrol, your voting cause he thinks like you Alot of things would be great.. if not for that damn thing called checks and balances. Your voting cause that's how you always vote. Most people do, but don't pretend it's border patrol

You don't know how I think , you're assuming like always . Most presidents don't do what they say they will. that's the smartest thing you said. I don't know who I will vote for , I don't watch the circus . I'm to busy with my own circus . I'll talk to a few educated people , and make my decision close to Nov. its a very complicated job . you can't please everyone . I would not want it . with out the insults on politicians. Some must have common sense , and think what we can do to make the US a better place . I don't think they're all devils . they went to Yale .or whatever.

You don't know how I think , you're assuming like always . Maybe not. But I know one thing with absolute certainty. It's a thread that aggressively addresses politics. What I see mostly is talking points that were designed by partisan operatives and then sent out to the faithful for regurgitation. I am nobody's faithful. The world is mostly propaganda, distortion and lies in 2024. And I know that no matter how causally I may feel, sitting in front of my computer expressing an opinion, there is a 100 percent chance that somebody here is going to light up and start hurling insults at me. 100 percent. And there are the illnesses to consider. I may come sprinkle a little stepped-back reality on this thread from time to time, but I plan to spread it out if I do. Have a good day, Martin

Have a good day, Martin That has nothing to do with Trump. I don't mind Trump I find him entertaining And I know many Trump supporters, but not many of them can articulate why they support trump. They don't know or care. They just dint want a dem

I know that no matter how causally I may feel, sitting in front of my computer expressing an opinion, there is a 100 percent chance that somebody here is going to light up and start hurling insults at me. 100 percent. And there are the illnesses to consider. Lol... Well, aren't YOU the maniacal martyr! From your feigned wonderment, to your heady intellectualizations about the history of mankind, you presume to be the only voice of reason among the deluded faithful... Do you own a mirror? When populations are essentially noble, they elect Dwight Eisenhower. When they are untrustworthy, they elect Bill Clinton. When they are greedy, egotistical and hell-bent they elect Biden and Trump. When they want to undo their lives, they elect Harris. Good grief, Marty... If you're going to equate Trump with Biden, why not go ahead and take the next step? Call it "progress..." and refuse to go back. Not sure what you mean Tony. Maybe this will answer it. You are a lock-step. Your American messiah, Donny, cannot be harshly or critically criticized. He represents the forces of good beating back those of evil. In your mind, there are some messy edges to that, but it's essential truth is unquestionable. Trump IS the will of God. My mind says to proceed with caution, but my heart knows that I have been insulted... I'll take solace in the fact that once God does exercise His ultimate will upon His creation... There will be no doubt. Until then, all we have is the Spirit of truth... and each other. What I see mostly is talking points that were designed by partisan operatives and then sent out to the faithful for regurgitation. I am nobody's faithful. The world is mostly propaganda, distortion and lies in 2024. Yet, the battle between self serving "Wanderers of the Earth" and the meek who will inherit God's creation has been raging since Cain and Abel. The "Wanderers" never seem to truly recall their history... despite the fact that God's truth never changes. Much greater minds than ours have been debating the finer points of "right and wrong" for six thousand years of recorded history, Marty. However, I'm certain you will take issue with that...
The journey is definitely more important than the destination...

Lol... yada, yada,yada... you presume to be the only voice of reason among the deluded faithful... Do you own a mirror? Yes, large mirror on the bathroom wall. And yes, on this website, in this circumstance, I dont presume anything. I am a voice of reason in a hair-on-fire construction...set up and insisted upon by a hair-on-fire dude named Tony. A bible-thumping Christian who talks about the end days and being a racist. Too crazy to be true. No opinion there Tony. Just hard facts. lol

And Tony.
PLEASE NOTE: When I said "faithful" , I meant political party "faithful."
Not religious beliefs.

Kelloggs screwed me. There was supposed to e a secret decoder ring in the last box of flakes that I bought. But there was not. Consequently I have no way of understanding this.

Found this, though one can't believe everything found on the Internet: "The circle of fifths was introduced in the late 1600s and early 1700s by composer and theorist Nikolay Diletsky as a tool for songwriters and composers to help them in their work123. It was later improved upon by Johann David Heinichen in the 1720s, resulting in the modern version we use today23. Although the concept can be traced back to medieval music theorist Guido of Arezzo, the actual circle diagram was formalized in the 18th century4. An early version, known as the Pythagorean Circle, is said to have been around since 600 BC" John

Marty, try the Secret Decoder Glasses.
I think they are advertised in the back pages of pulp magazines.
Or you could fashion your own with blue highlighter. Don't forget the articulation dots on the side to better align them.
And no, do not use red highlighter....you will go insane.
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Cool background JLS. And as I understand it, Pythagoras played with the resonance along a piece of string and found the tone intervals based on the fifths....but it seems it was used earlier in Mesopotamia. Just finished reading a book about ancient Sumer....awesome what that civilization produced in terms of "firsts" ...including music and scales and lyric and epic poetry and love songs Mesopotamia and Babylon inherited much from Sumer and built on that, and Pythagoras inherited a lot of it...even as I understand it, his theorem I think I’ll pretend to be Bach again and destroy the circle of fifths , we’ll see how this one turns out , No idea what them Yale folks are doing in DC I’m sure it’s informative. Circle of 5ths I get , maybe , Its chord families. but it gets pretty hairy on all the theory. What is being done sounds to my ear . Starting on a Bmior inversion , ending the progression on a Bflat suspended chord . I got about every chord in this 2 minute mood song . I think it works . Actually it ends on 3 chord walk down of inversions to a A inversion , not the one chord Bmior , Some guys( masters of it) make up their own rules , how things work really anyway. Dissonant to natural chord voicings , I'm big on open string voicings , fun stuff . Using chords not in key your in , Depends what's ringing on notes to work , base note inversions , all that .
Some of these famous guitar players made up new theory rules , somebody probably said you can't do that . Yes I can.
Well its a lot more interesting than politics , and name calling . Which I find boring and useless. Ego based computer jockeys.

Yet....here you are, repeatedly planting your ego based opinion, about ego based computer jockey's opinions, in the RANT (political) section. (and other sections) Find a pencil, sharpen it, and connect some dots.

What the song ? its in the studio . its called Nashville Folies , and I'll add a sax player. For another 2:00 mood song . Beats politics . It says rant , I see nothing in the subject line of Politics , My phone still works , ghosters. but either one of you will call . the muskrat lovers on make out hill . now Tony called so we could have a man on man talk . Ladies . Marty should laugh on this , they want me to bid a job to add concrete to a floor , No frigging way , you get a structural engineer. You want me to be responsible if the building collapses. Right , I pass . Who owns that building ? A rich lawyer . Triple pass.
