Pretty much , The AI take over. I talked to a session player thats doing some tracks for me . He said I hope these ROBOTS don't steal my job. That's the math , A penny for tracks that takes 4 seconds $800.00 for real players and 2 weeks worth of work , at the minimum. Results , subjective . you can hear if its been done by robots. What can you do with a AI song you don't sing and using Robots ? No idea really. AI songs are mixed in 4 seconds, Real songs takes hours on separate stems to mix with real players .

My songs are basically simple 4/4s using 1-4-5-6 in some order. In days past, I would go to a studio and hire session people for drums, piano, steel pedal. I would do vox, guitar, bass myself.
These days, Toontracks midi roll is drums. I can stay with the midi and move hits around until I get what I want. For my songs, bass is easier to do with a midi-controller and midi roll than an actual bass. Piano is tougher. I have to keep trying algorithms until I get "close-enough." Then, maybe a little midi-roll
Takes forever but I enjoy it and do it all from my home. Will have something for you to throw tomatoes at in a week or two.

AI is incredible. Not just songwriting AI but all AI. And scary because of displacement. It is not just horses and buggies that are going away. What I am downplaying is people such as yourself, who have never been productive before at actually producing songs. But now, giving a few prompts to an incredible technology...and believing that they truly own the entire process.

Prove that it is not. Show links to all of these these songs. For clarity: Not misc lyrics and poems in various states of completion. Show FINISHED SONGS prior to UDIO and AI.

Every lyric I've done has been posted here, and you know this, the music majority were demoed, some were a cappela, others not.
The bottom line is even, if one refused to credit me for my results, which theyd be missing it, I'm at very least lyricist for all 90 songs.
That alone is accomplishment. And talent.

Most of my MP3 are in windows systems that I can't access. But they were written melodically which is why they did well..

My concern was a single MP3 section that would litter with bland AI songs and make it difficult to sort through all the crap to get to something worth hearing. But, you ran through all of your shoe boxes of lyrics about ants and so forth... and for the moment the deluge seems to have subsided. So, no issue.
Since AI is so easy to do and does all of the ACTUAL MUSIC MAKING, I still think that it would be a good idea to have an MP3 section where the songs have real singers and at least one real instrument. But no one here cares to do it. C'est la lie.
I have a song coming up in a week or two. Me on vox. Me on rhythm guitar. A much better guitarist than me on lead. And the rest VSTs. Me doing the sound engineering. It wont be the best song ever recorded, but it will be superior to anything that Dom has ever done.

I dont want to rely on robots. That would freeze me at my current musical skill levels. Any teenager can learn to plug in robots. I like drilling down into the parts of the song. It takes some time. My various skills are nothing exceptional in the real music world and I know it. I've sat down with guitarists who couldn't get calls in Nashville and been blown away. The guitarist on this latest one sat down with Vince Gill and tried out for his tour a few years ago. Didn't get it, but he is still very good.
The reality is that it is very unlikely that I am not better than you at all aspects of my songwriting hobby, but I see myself in comparison to real good players and you see yourself in comparison to people that hang out at the donut shop.
