Hi everyone My first posting on JPF for a year. This is a train song, I had guys like Alan Jackson and George Strait in mind. Vocal Micky Dees https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14825729CLICKETY CLACK. verse I was that kid sat on a fence waving at passing trains Engineers got to know me they'd all wave back again verse Grew up, became a railroad man now drive my own iron wheels Heading down the Pacific Line past homesteads and snowcapped hills chorus Each clickety clack rolling down the track is music to my ears That sweet melody as it picks up steam whistle screaming, hey everyone we're here. Clickety clack rolling down the track make way for the US Mail Fireman tired but a job well done mopse his brow he's sweated pails Verse Carried rich folks of consequence While freeloaders in boxcars hide Folks relocating to better lives hoping for better luck this time Instrumental bridge Me and my skinny fireman like two jailbirds in a cell Just each others company at times ten hours a day, is hell chorus Each clickety clack rolling down the track is music to my ears That sweet melody as it picks up steam whistle screaming, hey everyone we're here. Clickety clack rolling down the track make way for the US Mail Fireman tired but a job well done mopse his brow he's sweated pails

Yes its in their sound going back when they started in the 70ties or so. Cool song , Good Ole "Murder On Music Row"..vibe . Nice job man !!!. George wised up , His 2024 songs are pretty current in melodies , with keeping a ole school sound. He's probably back on radio , They kicked him off for awhile
