I wrote „I Just Wanna Know” back in 2008 with my son Leon who was age 12 at the time. Back then, we recorded the song as a rock song with powerful guitars. With the help of AI I just created a more up-to-date pop version of the song. I have to admit that I really like this one. It’s dangerously catchy. I Just Wanna Know https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14824903[Intro] [Verse] The first time I saw you After school at the town café I smiled at you, and you smiled back at me [Verse] In the heat of the moment I think I just gave my heart away Will I regret all the things I do [Chorus] Oh I I just wanna know Will love come or will you go I just wanna know [Verse] Remember when you first kissed me You took my breath away It consumes me every night and day [Verse] I lie awake and I wonder Feel like sailing a stormy sea I guess I´m looking for a guarantee [Chorus] Oh I I just wanna know (just wanna know) Will love come or will you go I just don’t know Oh I I just wanna know (just wanna know) Should I let my feelings show I just wanna know [Bridge] When I hold you in my arms Everything is alright I´ve fallen for your mystic charms Will this last for more than just one night [Interlude] [Chorus] Oh I I just wanna know (just wanna know) Will love come or will you go I just don’t know Oh I I just wanna know (just wanna know) Should I let my feelings show I just wanna know (just wanna know) I just wanna know (just wanna know) I just wanna know (just wanna know) I just wanna know (just wanna know) I just wanna know [Outro]

Great!!!Feels like today's pop....The hook is great...props to your son as well.. I think there could be a competition between you and Bill Draper as to who is having the most fun with AI Both of you are putting out great stuff with AI
Steve
Creators of music have a responsibility to their craft. When they have finished using all the notes and words, they must pass them down to the next generation with a simple request. “Use these to create new music.”...Steven McDonald

Mqkes me think of Cole Swindell.
You have developed a knack for making AI sound "clean" and less "artificial." In addition, your themes (and your son's) are "real world."
I could be hearing this on a Cole Swindell EP and would not question its authenticity.
That is amazing and disturbing in equal measure.
Nice track

Steve Hi Steve, thanks for your kind words and valuable feedback. I'm only "experimenting" with Suno. I originally recorded this song in 2008 and paid money for the production. I just wanted to hear what AI could do with the lyrics. This is much more modern than the original. I also have a bunch of hand-written lyrics from my teenager days. Some are really bad but it's amazing, almost frightening, what AI does with them. It turns them into hit-like productions. Yes, it is a lot of fun. I can't wait for the next generation of AI tools. Take care Robert

Martin Hi Marty, I've never heard of Cole Swindell. I fully agree with you that this AI stuff is amazing and disturbing. It actually is a lot of fun because you do have a certain level of control over what the results should sound like. You can achieve a lot with meta-tags, prompts, backing vocals, etc. I left some of them in my lyrics here. Thanks for the feedback! All the best - Robert
