Really nice vocal...love the laid back feel and the arrangement is top notch...feels from another era but IMO holds up nicely

Not the kind of music I would normally listen to, but I have to say this is impressive. Great vocals and all round production. Love the sax. As Steve notes, it does have a retro feel to it - or should that be timeless?

Cool tune man ... Retro feel . all flows really well and nice BGVS. I've been married for 40 years , just to 4 different wife's , If these wife's get any younger , I might get arrested. Well you should get some kinda metal

Gavin and Ben, thanks for taking the time to give it a listen. Yeah the retro feel was done on purpose. I wrote the song as a gift for my wife as we celebrated over 40 years of marriage.

#1 Critique of 'industry' personnel listening to submissions: "Vocal buried in the Mix." The piano volume, rather than supporting the Vocal, makes it 'compete' for prominence. I can't understand some Lines of Lyric, so they don't work to support the whole. (It may be my hearing, listening on a laptop.)
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

"So other than that, how did you enjoy the play, Mrs. Lincoln?" Just kidding. I've listened to the demo numerous times and did not walk away hearing the same things you point out. But, as always, I'm open to any constructive criticism. I appreciate you giving it a listen and taking the time to offer your expertise. Thanks, Gary.
