In my opinion, the only good thing about this song/demo is the chorus. It sounds great. Really catchy. Congrats. But the rest … sorry … just doesn’t work. The intro is a bit too long. The music sounds outdated. In line 3 of both verses the singer has problems fitting all the words in. Those lines don’t flow well with the music. The demo covers only a small part of the song. The rhyme scheme in the bridge is not consistent. In the first 4 lines you have a A-B-A-B scheme which is good. In the second 4 lines it’s an A-B-C-B scheme which doesn’t really work well.

I’ve been playing around with these AI song generators too. They are nice. They give you ideas. But in the end, they take creativity away from you. They compose tunes, record instruments, define a vocal melody, they sing for you, they even write lines that might be missing. When done, you have to you ask yourself, how much of that song came from you? I find it astonishing how you identify yourself with the results. But ok, if you’re a pure lyricist this software turns your poems into songs. I prefer to collaborate with talented writers, musicians, producers.

Btw, getting a lot of views doesn’t mean you have a hit or a good song. I was one of them and your song didn’t hit me straight in the face. You noticed yourself that hardly anybody comments your song. I am one of the few to give you some feedback.

FFS, I was being ironic. Poking fun at myself for being one of those lurkers as much as at you guys for providing the entertainment that draws the views. Self awareness is a pretty rare commodity around here. I could see where this was headed from the start and I can't pretend I haven't enjoyed it just a little bit. My point is that I'm probably not alone in my guilty pleasure and that might explain some of those views that Dom mentions. And yes, a quick review of the thread confirms that you are all slinging mud at each other over nothing very much in the best JPF tradition. And now I've got splattered with mud too LOL.

It is not the girls. Dom and Gavin are both highly eligible for positions on the Egyptian Swim Team because it is well known that they already spend so much time in da' Nile.
