Like Fdemetrio, I picked up on the UDIO website and eeked out my own lyric... and used the softwares suggested singer and music. Its kinda nice. Lyric almost makes sense the way the female sings it. It is a good learning tool yeah. I might try to figure out the chords and give it a sing. Any suggestions on lyric change gladly appreciated. Cheers! I remember your hook jury of tears
You generated the rest?
Sounds like sma old school country or folk ballad.
It's interesting how that thing if it creates the whole thing itself it will make a full song.
It just won't let you make a full song out of your own song.

I wrote all the words.
I had a difficult time getting an intro in there....it kept giving me some mumbled thing...funny....but finally accepted the Gotta Keep...with the measure of the mumbling....like it was prompting for it...ha! The software did the second sing of the bridge in that subdued harmony. I added the tag and liked the intrumental outro. None of that music is mine or my idea...total pirated.

Well that's interesting cause your using sparse lines, and that enabled you to get a full song
So it must go by line length
The shorter the lyric the longer the song will be
Keep ba jng fun with it

Keep ba jng fun with it I think so yes. I just fed it bits. This software encourages that...33 sec to start. If you give it lots a lyric....it adjusts with beats per minute to get it in. BPM variance is genre related, etc, etc. With the first 33 secs, and the lines fed in, you can click on refresh or redo, keep doing over and over again, until you hit on some music bite that more closely matches your own head music. Once you get that, begin feeding it other parts of the lyric, chorus, bridge.... I like the results you are getting yourself, although I detect disappointment, as it isn't grabbing the music in your head close enough. Fun though , heh? Bill

Not a style that I know anything about. But I enjoyed it and the software is a fascination.

Intro Gotta keep Gotta keep I've gotta keep running
Gotta keep I've gotta keep running
Verse I What can I say You're going away (Singer pronounces it single syllable 'Your' instead of two syllable 'You're' u-er. Little things matter.) I'll see you again one day soon
Verse II Soon you will be happy and free Running Running Running ng mm M to me! BOOM (Should get more emphasis in enunciation.)
(Bridge) (I'd call this the Chorus. But entitling the Composition "Holding On For Tomorrow" but not using that Line 3 to 5 times makes it a poem instead of a Song Lyric.) (I'd 'flip' these Lines) A jury of tears Attending A flurry of fears Ascending
(Like this;) A flurry of fears Ascending! A jury of tears Attending! (and sing;) tears born of sorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow.
(Here I'd expect a Repeat of Verse Structure, as in your VI, VII, same or near same syllable count, enabling singing of same Melody. You don't label these Stanzas.) Verse III Angels were there playing in your hair! Dancing on the ceiling of your room!
(Since your VII differs from VI, they may consolidate into component Movements of a single Verse. What I designate as VIII then could duplicate the VI-Vii Structure you have, and just be VII.) Visions I see You by the sea Running! Running! Running to ng me! BOOM!
(Repeat Chorus) And home again to you A jury of tears Attending A flurry of fears Ascending
Tag (A final Musical Movement is a 'Coda. 'Tag' is a common slang.) And home again to you Through all these trials One thought remained To be home again with you (If you use the Tag, I'd still end with the Title Line.) I'ng m Holding On For Tommorrow! Restructured Lyric suggestion below, without notes.)
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

"Holding On For Tomorrow" Copyright Bill Draper 4/18/24
(Introductory Movement) Gotta keep Gotta keep I've gotta keep running
Gotta keep I've gotta keep running
Verse I What can I say? You're going away! I'll see you again, one day, soon.
Soon you will be, happy and free, Running! Running! Running, to me! BOOM!
(Chorus) A flurry of fears, ascending! A jury of tears, attending! Tears born of sorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow.
(Verse II) Angels were there, playing in your hair! Dancing on the ceiling of your room!

(Repeat Chorus) A flurry of fears ascending! A jury of tears attending! Tears born of sorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow. I'm Holding On For Tomorrow.

Really interesting, Bill...I'm impressed with what I am hearing...I may be at the age where I should be pushing back hard against things like "eh eye" (fellow Canadian) but I'm a fan of where it can take people in music and it can be very positive for music...and in the end it will be the public deciding the fate of AI and as Stevie Nicks says "nothing else matters"...AI does nothing more than what has been done forever...just a billion times faster
what I liked on this song was the phrasing....that's cool stuff
Steve
