Hi Folks,
I use Ableton as my DAW. It can do everything with sounds, effects and every recording/mixing feature you could ever need. I added Native Instruments Komplete and Arturia's Suite of Instruments and effect to broaden the fun. I have some odds and ends beyond those because "he who has the most toys wins" right?

I have recently treated myself to some upgrades... thanks to Apple discontinuing support for the 2012 Mac mini lol. I now have the Mac mini M2pro, and use a POD Go as my interface. My old Presonus Audiobox and ZOOM R24 are also obsolete... but still function well as preamps for my Shure SM58 and sound great routed into the POD when needed. My old SIMMONS E-kit has also gone the way of the dinosaurs... But, my old KORG KROSS is still in the game and communicates well with LogicPro's drums. Because of my poor eyesight, my Mac is plugged into a 65" flat screen in my living room. That's routed to my old SONY receiver/amp with a couple of old 90's BOSE bookshelf monitors. I'm literally recording from my couch... with FOX news always on in the background Add to that... a bunch of old 80's gear that I just can't let go of lol... and I actually feel like technology has finally caught up to me ADDENDUM; I've also picked up a new CATALYST 200 just for fun, which also interfaces directly with Logic. I highly recommend one

Sure is! However, I've recently discovered it's possible to run MIDI out from my DAW to my old KORG KROSS, then run the KORG back into the DAW via audio interface. I'm not really a keyboard player, so... I'm a little technologically "slow" lol. Anyway, my old KORG has recently come back to life. LOTS OF FUN!

Did you ever get a DAW or just using the Apple stuff? I understand it operates like a DAW, I just wasn't sure if it had as much software as a lot of time I see Windows stuff, not sure if people always develop for it? I know XBox has WAY more titles than Sony for example, even though Sony has a pretty large market. Apple is 50%, does everyone get Logic included?

I'm not really a keyboard player, so... I'm a little technologically "slow" lol. Anyway, my old KORG has recently come back to life. LOTS OF FUN! I have 27 Keyboards (most with Keys, but some are rack units) and a bunch of drum machines and midi stuff. I last had it all hooked up in 1995 before I packed up my apartment and started doing JPF full time rather than as a hobby. I just can't get the energy to hook it all back up even though I have a giant room intended for it to be set up. All the boards are on Ultimate A frame Racks plus a mixing desk with all the top and bottom racks full, plus two rolling rack cases and 4 more 8 unit racks cases for touring full of gear, none of which has been turned on since the late 90s. Then I just used Korg gear as they were my Sponsor from 98 until the President of Korg USA passed away. His replacement only sent me free gear after that until it stopped completely after my strokes kept me off the road full time.
