Having a great year verse you and your shallow , pretentious friends. sit around and prophesize. wearing the latest designer clothes. leading your unhappy lives. verse Does it make you feel superior? to look at me down your nose. For my part I mind my own business. don’t care to put on a show. chorus I’m happy with who I am. I don’t feel insecure. I’m living like I want to. I’m having a great year. verse You say I lack sophistication. but honestly i don’t care. I’m comfortable in my own skin. any time or anywhere. verse I don’t need to live in a mansion. I don’t need diamonds and gold. What you don’t understand about me is I can’t be bought or sold. chorus I’m happy with who I am. I don’t feel insecure. I’m living like I want to live. I’m having a great year. verse you tried to impress me with money. show off your new fancy car. but it only showed me you’re shallow. proved what kind of man you are. verse I think it unnerves you I’m happy. I think you want what I have. I suppose it infuriates you. that you’ll never be my man. bridge I don’t envy your position. you’ll probably grow old alone. still pretending you’ve got it all. alone on your porcelain throne. chorus I'm happy with who I am. I don’t feel insecure. I’m living like I want to live. I'm having a great year.

Tony has spotted that "prophesize"is not a real word. The verb is prophesy. I like the line about the porcelain throne LOL.

"Money is worst reason to be motivated NOT to do anything. Instead of letting those concerns STOP you, use it to motivate yourself to find an alternate solution that bypasses money. You will soon find that your own resourcefulness is worth far more than a pile of paper money." –Brian Austin Whitney
