Dreaming of being free verse I feel trapped like a bug in a spider web. struggling to get free. entangled by obligations and debt. to those depending on me. pre chorus I’m weary of being pushed and pulled. Neglecting my own needs. I long to do what I want to do. Leave in search of my dreams. chorus But I’m a hostage held by my conscience. Dreaming of being free. verse I feel stuck in a life I don’t wanna live. fearful I’ll die this way. entangled by feelings of selfishness. desperately needing a change. pre chorus I’m weary of being pushed and pulled. neglecting my own needs. i long to do what i want to do. Leave in search of my dreams. chorus but I’m a hostage held by my conscience. dreaming of being free. Bridge What if the grass isn’t greener? what if I lose what I have? what will i do, what will I do? If my life is twice as bad.
